Ideal upgrade for Variax Standard
Top quality nut. No binding when using vibrato, nice bright tone & long sustain. Bought this to upgrade a Variax Standard, which basically has a standard Yamaha Pacifica neck with VERY narrow string spacing at the nut.The PT-6225-00 nut has a more comfortable, slightly wider string spacing, and fitted to the Variax neck perfectly only requiring a little sanding to bring the height down.

I needed this for a Yamaha Pacifica...needed to file it for depth,but it was really easy to work on, and has helped with the sustain, with no nut binding or pinging...recommended.
