I bought the 30". I didn't realize there was an option for the 48". This one is going back to be exchanged for the 48". 30" is too small.

No, but it should be no problem. The soil I used to level my backyard had considerable amount of organics, like stems.

Q: Can you explain with photos if possible the design differs between the 30” and 48”

The 30" and 48" leveling rakes produce the same leveling results. The structural design differences are simply for size, weight, and ground plate flex requirements.
