Alba Botanica Acnedote Invisible Treatment Gel, 0.5 oz

I've tried a lot of spot treatments and always felt pretty meh about them. After shelling out money for a Dermalogica one and not really getting success I decided I was done wasting money on spot treatments. Over a year later I decided to take a chance on this one. All I can say is wow. I get big painful breakouts on my chin, and I usually expect it to be a week and half ordeal. I started using this morning and night and on day 3 it has shrank down significantly. This will definitely be a repeat purchase for me.

This is the only acne spot treatment that's actually done anything for me. It seems to work best on surface level whiteheads and smaller pimples, but it significantly decreases the swelling of larger pimples and hormonal acne. If applied morning and night seems to remove them in no longer than 3 days. Love this stuff!!

Seemed to work pretty well. I had acne due to a steroid medication. At age 61 that’s no fun!!

The advertising is very deceptive. I believe that the Orginal product is no longer available and you're trying to push this Maximum Strength version with false advertising. The product is in the Original packing, not the Yellow Maximum Strength packaging that made the big significance between the two. Without reading I thought I finally found the Original product, so I bought two. Only to open it to the yellow and white Maximum Strength product. My fault for not reading. However I don't read my coke bottle every time I reach for it in the store, and why should I if the branding is consistent and not being deceptive.Your Maximum Strength is too strong. It does not compare to the wonders of the Original Product.

There is a very small amount of product for the money — a half-ounce of gel. The tube that the gel comes in is very wonky when you squeeze it. You squeeze a couple of times and nothing comes out. Then you squeeze it a bit harder and a huge glob of the gel is dispensed, much more than you actually need. So the tube is emptied way quicker (and way more wastefully) than it would be if you could better control the amount dispensed, as you can with most comparable products. I guess this works out to the manufacturer's benefit since you would need to order more frequently. But despite the fact that the gel works reasonably well, I will not order again.

Ever since i bought this 2 years ago it has been a must have, a need even if you will lol :)
