Great Customer Service and Efficient Exhaust Hood
I bought this range hood a couple of months ago and just installed it. So I cannot say too much about the longevity of this product. But what I can talk about is the customer service I received when the original hood I installed had a problem. Customer Service: *** The seller Tieasy always responded to my messages very quickly *** After I contacted the seller through the Amazon order link, Tieasy Customer Service immediately responded. After sending them a video and description about what the problem was, Tieasy Support Team determined the possible cause of the problem quickly and gave me the option of a full refund or sending me a new replacement unit. Since all openings on the wall and cabinet were already made, I chose to get a replacement. Just installed the new unit a few days ago. It works like a charm. Pro: 1. I really like the appearance of this range hood. It is elegant and uniquely shaped which directs cooking fume to the exhaust opening very effecient. 2. On the highest of the 3 CFM settings, it moves a lot of air. You can feel it. 3. The noise level on the highest CFM setting is not bad at all. I haven't done any noise measurement, but I can say it is much quieter than two of my previous exhaust hoods. It doesn't bother me at all. *** I believe the 7-inch diameter exhaust duct helps a great deal with CFM and noise reduction. *** Con: The 7-inch exhaust duct and vent cover are not as easy to find. I bought a 8ft 7-inch semi-regid duct at the local home store L*wes (the only place I could find) and the plastic louver vent cover (7-inch) at ventmyhouse.C*M. Based on the experience of my interactions with Tieasy Customer Service, I highly recommend this seller.

Best hood for the price. Easy install, and has worked flawlessly.

Installation of great Tiesay
These are very cool, futuristic island range hoods. In my case, we had an existing 18-year-old range hood that had stopped working and needed to be replaced. It took a contractor and a helper about three hours total to remove the old and install the new, at a labor cost of $380. It's definitely not a one-man job.

Vent hood works well, but looks bad due to blue protective plastic stuck in seams
I rarely write negative reviews, but this deserves one. Installation is not easy, but that might be expected. No, it is a truly dumb step in manufacturing that will leave unsighly bits of protective blue plastic stuck in the assembly. When this product is made, earch stainless part is first dipped in plastic to protect the metal. AFTER being coated, the parts are riveted togather. The blue plastic is very weak, but adheres strongly to the stainless, so removing it from even the large peices is hard work. But in every riveted seam or fasterner, there is a little bit of blue plastic that will remain. This is visible, and there is nothing you can do to remove it. The plastic film is too weak to be scrapped out with a knife tip or pick. I even tried a propane torch to melt it (discoloring part of the stainless), and the plastic just melted and flowwed deeper into the seam. It is stupiid manufacturing, not poor quality materials that is the problem.

Looks good. Hard install.
It's ok. The lights are not as bright as I had hoped. The installation guy struggled to get it up. He finally had to trim part of it off to make it fit together.

I wanted a new range hood as I found the suction power of mine to be severely lacking; after googling my model, I found it outputted a measly 300 CFM, so I was interested in an upgrade. And I'm happy to say, this gave me what I was looking for! It's not sucking up everything and causing a windstorm - in fact you can't really feel the wind flow too much. But there is noticeably less steam and and smell now. I would say I smell my cooking 30% less now when walking around the kitchen/living room area. And, best of all, the noise level is about the same as it was before. Overall, I'm happy with the upgrade and think it's definitely an improvement from my older model. Below, I'll go a bit into detail about my experience: Features - At first, I thought the design looked rather ugly - however, when the top hood is extended downwards, it actually gives off a modern, futuristic vibe that I appreciate - The range hood takes a few seconds to power on and extend down, however, you can also simply choose to leave it on stand-by mode. This means you'll be able to turn on the fans very quickly, though the little LED light displaying the fan speed will always be on - The extended hood at the front is also great at funneling any steam or smoke away from your face and into the fan, helping ensure you have a clear view of your food - A handy feature is the inclusion of sensors, enabling you to adjust the speed of the fans or turn it on/off hands-free. Just quickly swipe your hands between the sensors. While it takes a bit of practice, this mechanism means it'll be really hard to accidentally adjust by mistake, which is nice - The LEDs unfortunately are a little on the dim side for my liking - they give off an artificial, slightly bluish white. As the lights are also only on the sides, the center will be a bit dim. It's good enough to see what you're doing, but in my opinion a brighter, more natural light feels more comfortable Cleaning - The flat, angled design of this unit makes it easier to wipe down with fewer random grooves and crannies - It was pretty easy to detach the grates for further scrubbing - The bottom grease trap was slightly more fiddly to remove, but overall the cleaning process was straightforward and it was easy to rinse out and re-attach Installation - The range comes with instructions on a few different methods of installation; top-mounted, side-mounted, or wall-mounted. In our case, we decided to mount it to the top of our cabinet - While the instructions weren't perfectly clear as to what the steps were, it was straight forward enough to figure out. The kit comes with stencil for you to stick onto your cabinet so you can make sure you add your screws in the correct spot; note that some of them require you to drill through first, and the others you need to screw directly in - You also need to be careful not to split the wood of your cabinetry, especially if it's not hardwood - As the unit is VERY heavy, it can be a struggle even with two men to hang the hood on - Overall, it's a bit of a challenging install - make sure you perfectly understand the process before you start and hire a professional if you aren't confident

Update: I had a question about the install and the sellers communication was above and beyond. I would definitely use this seller again! Removal of the protective plastic is EASY! Read on… The enclosed instructions are very generic since they cover 3 or 4 different mounting styles. That being said installation is pretty simple and straight forward. 1) mount the top plate to the ceiling (I ran some 2x4’s in the attic on top of the drywall and screwed into those instead of using the drywall anchors). 2) Cut your hole for the vent hose. 3) assemble the anti-backdraft pieces and install the vent hose onto the range hood. (I used #4 screws to hold it in place and aluminum HVAC tape to support the first 4-5 inches of hose in an extended position) - my concern is that the hose may collapse (contract) and the anti-backdraft pieces not open completely. 4) assemble the angle supports to the length you want and attach them to range hood. 5) use a utility knife to cut the protective plastic down the seams of the cover pieces. Remove the blue protective plastic. 6) slide the cover box pieces together and down over the angle supports. 7) lift the hood (2 people required) into place and screw the angle supports to the ceiling bracket. 8) raise the inner cover box piece to the ceiling and install the self tapping screws. 9) remove the 4 screws holding the glass. Lift the glass to allow easy removal of the protective plastic film on the range hood.

This is well made and working great. It feels very strong and durable. The fans are fairly quiet and the washable filters are great. Everything is working great and it does a great job sucking up the vapors from the stovetop even on low. I think the price is very fair. Installing is straight forward if you're doing it yourself. The steel looks great on it.
