Down To Earth Rock Phosphate is one of those products I don’t even think twice about anymore, it goes into every single tomato planting, no exceptions. I grow my tomatoes in 25-gallon grow bags, and this is part of my ritual. A good handful worked into the soil, then another small handful right in the planting hole, along with a little Down To Earth calcium. After that? My tomatoes thrive. Stronger roots. Thicker stems. Deeper color. Slow, steady power instead of weak, leggy growth. It’s not flashy fertilizer, it’s foundational. It builds the base my plants stand on all season long. I’ve tried skipping it before. Never again. The difference is real. If I don’t do anything else for my tomatoes, this still goes in. Every time. Five stars and rock-solid results.

Absolutely essential when planting tomatoes. A handful in the bottom of the hole, set plant on top and cover up! Your tomatoes will love you for it.

Great soil amendment

Great addition to gardening. Powerful stuff. Comes in small granules with about 50 in a teaspoon. A little dusty at times. Shield from wind. Use them as part of a custom soil mix. A little goes a long way. I barely scraped the surface with gardening a 60”x30” bed. It’s best if you soil test before adding to mix.
