I've been using these for about a week. The five baskets are detachable, but I stand them all up in a row like a tall shelving unit that doesn't take up a lot of floor space. The shelves are a lot sturdier than it may appear in the pictures, including the manufacturer's pictures. I even tried pushing them around with my hand to test them before I put something expensive there, but they don't give. I've been using them to keep my kids' toys organized, because it's easy for my littlest one to reach in and grab his toys from the bottom basket, but you could use these for a lot of items, even electronics. The individual baskets each have enough height to fit items you might reasonably want to put in this type of storage unit. Also, if you start to find it too tall, you can change it to one stack of three baskets and another stack of two baskets.

These baskets are better than expected. They are easy to assemble, very sturdy and provide customizable storage options for a variety of solutions. The sizing was slightly smaller than I was expecting, but true to the listed dimensions. I've loaded this with about 40 lbs. of garage storage junk and it performs just fine. Some may want to anchor this to the wall to prevent a tip hazard in particular uses when stacked in the vertical position. I will say the pricing is slightly high in my opinion, but the quality itself is certainly better than that of other offerings. Overall, pleased and will continue to enjoy.
