Is it just the holder, or does it come with an eraser inside?

It comes with eraser. In my next order i will order the refills. I am taking art classes on the computer and it is one of my favored erases. Hope this helps. Karyel

The cartridge itself is approximately 5" long, the eraser is ultra fine (2.3mm).
