I came across this product , purely by chance , given that my husband and I had tried every cream possible for our aches and pains ! I came to Amazon to find some sort of book for exercises , rather than creams , as we just couldn't find anything that worked . So I thought , here we go again , probably another loss on the purse strings , but to our amazement , the gel works !! Yes it REALLY works . My husband could hardly move his neck after wear and tear , arthritis has set in and years in the building trade , he has been in agony , and at times could hardly lift his head up . He applied this over 2 days , 3 times per day , and the pain had gone . To be fair he applied a generous amount , but be careful as too much can make the skin HOT , but it's not dangerous , it's the chilli sinking into the skin, please don't be put off by this , it's just simply doing it's work . For me this gel is also a blessing , my back aches from a past injury , and the same relief, after applying for only 3 days , my pain had gone . My 80 year old mother is also relieved when we gave her some for her back, pain now gone. The gel goes a long way , and it is smooth to apply, and worth every penny . We will be ordering more . I'll be honest I wasn't happy when I first used this. After about ten minutes I walked past the mirror and did a double take.....shock! I looked like I was burning! I quickly got a baby wipe and tried washing it off as I worried I was allergic and needed to go to the hospital. After about 2 hours I thought I'd just leave it and stop stressing due to another persons comment. Then after about 5 hours I wasn't red anymore! They really need to put a warning on the tub!!! Nothing is mentioned about doing a patch skin test first or what you might encounter using this. It works wonders but except bright red skin that looks burnt!!! I did try the next day on my knees and the redness wasn't as bad, but around my neck, chest and shoulders it went bright red as you can see and stung. The tub doesn't close properly either, which is extremely annoying. I suffer with myofascial muscle pain and tightness on one side, so apart from the red skin it's a blessing!

Don't waste your money. It has a pleasant medicinal smell. I used this on various parts of my body to get relief from muscle pain. There were no instructions so at first I used a small amount. No warmth or soothing effect. Next time I applied quite a lot to the affected areas. The result was the same. No effect whatsoever. It's now in the bin which smells nicer than it previously did.

I have been using prescription chilli cream/gel for a number of years for arthritis, nerve damage etc. I have bought chilli gel from Amazon before too and although it was of a waxy consistancy that badly stained clothing it is a great product BUT this one I shall buy again. I dont think it is as powerful as others I have used but I am a long term user of it and have actually been looking for something that 'soaks' in quickly and works brilliantly. This gel I find is best if a few thin coats are rub in, not too hard as it like all chilli based stuff will give a burning sensation if you overdo it. Ive used this from my toes to my groin both legs and its great. Ive decanted a bit in a small bottle that I can take with me when out. Yes I recommend this and yes I shall defo buy again.

I see a few reviews saying it don’t work?Iv seen a few say it’s grate ?Well it works for me? It’s not intensely hot , thou it can get warm in areas where your skin is thin or sensitive, for me its been spot on for keeping me old muscles moving 👍

I rubbed a small amount of this gel over my lower back, then washed my hands thoroughly (I thought). Within seconds two red raw patches on my wrists appeared where I had got some of the gel on without realising. I spent a long time rinsing it off and it took about 1/2 hour for the redness to disappear. When I looked at my back in the mirror the whole area was scarlet and burning. I washed and washed it to try to get rid of as much as I could, but the redness didn't go for some time. Maybe if the directions had mentioned this as a possibility I wouldn't have been so concerned, Eventually I could appreciate the warmth the gel generated on my skin but once that had gone the soreness in my muscles returned.I see just one reviewer suggested doing a patch test, but I'm surprised no-one else mentions this.

Used for joint pain.
