The main difference to note is the finish of the product. The new one is perfect! It’s a cross between the old and the regular hold pomade. I have tried both dry and wet hair application and I think dry is better - when I applied it to wet hair and went outside, the wind was blowing my hair around in chunks, not a good look. Dry on the other hand, has held well. When set you definitely cannot run your hands through so don't expect that, it definitely has some crunchy texture but overall it's not a bad finish.
