Heat is very good, lingers a bit. Flavor is good as well, but not as flavorful as milder sauces (probably a less can be used due to the heat). Will definitely keep this one in stock. Review: This is no joke, ive had the pepper x before and this far exceeds that heat level and is a whole other level. The extracts are just so intense in this. I took a small dab the size of the tip of a tooth pick on a chicken tender and it lit up my whole mouth almost instantly. The burn lasted a while too. I went back for a dab the size maybe or a pea and it actuallty felt similar to when I poured rapid boiling water over my foot a few months ago and the skin blew off down the raw meat only all over my mouth. The heat quickly migrated to the back of the mouth mostly and very intense like someone slid a glowing red hot ring around my tonge. After many drinks of soda and some milk it settled but felt sort of numb like my mouth had gone to sleep feeling, similar to when you get novacain and its just starting to wear off. I used so little I could not really tell the flavor profile because I tasted mostly chicken and insane heat consumed anything else. I would say if youre not trying to get an insane mouth burn to add this in drops of other things that you want a good amount of heat to but dont want to change the flavor profile.

This stuff is definitely warm for a lover of extreme heat; this does deliver a good kick. I've tried a wide variety of hot sauces, and this one does have a good amount of heat, and that's rare for me to admit. It can overpower the taste of your food if you're not careful. I use about half or two-thirds as much of this in and on food as I use of most other Carolina Reaper or other hot sauces labeled "extremely hot." This sauce is definitely worth adding to your collection or for everyday use depending on your tolerance.

After being tired of adding a bunch of sauces and peppers to foods and having the spice be inconsistent at best, I decided to get this, and it's really good. It only takes a few drops to add a nice kick to food. How much really depends on your tolerance and how much you're making. I wouldn't go past 15 drops for a large sauce pan. For something less saucy like macaroni, I take 3-5 drops and mix it with a bit of milk in a cup, then dump it into the macaroni and mix it in with some added heat to cook off the added liquid. I wouldn't try adding this directly to less saucy or more solid foods, at least on it's own. It needs to be spread out. In such little quantities, it doesn't add any noticeable taste to food that I can tell. I'm a bit too wimpy to try it on it's own. It comes in a decent glass bottle, it's survived a few drops outside of the fridge, although the lid got cracked, but it's still keeping fine. For the price I was a bit unsure about the size, since $20 sounds a bit much for 5 oz, but it's lasted me this far, and likely longer. It's kept fine for all this time, not sure anything would want to grow in this spice. Although I did end up losing this bottle for a bit and got the Hellboy branded sauce variant before I ended up finding this again. If I had only just this one bottle, it would probably be empty by now, but that's still a very long time that it's lasted. Also as far as I can tell, the Hellboy branded variant is the same as this sauce, so it doesn't really matter which one you get, both are good. TL;DR If you want to easily add spice to food without using most of a bottle or a bunch of peppers, get this. A few drops can give your food a nice kick.

This sauce is no joke! A single drop lights up your entire mouth, but it actually tastes great before the fire kicks in. You get real pepper flavor, not just pure extract heat. Definitely not for beginners, but if you love extreme spice, this is a must-try. Handle with care!
