Must have if you do at home laser treatments, or any kind of light treatments. I believe many people also use these for tanning. For my use they worked great, I'm always concerned that when I use my blue and red light therapy for (Acne & Wrinkles). My eyes may be affected. These are tinted dark and work really well. They are a bit uncomfortable, but now I don’t worry that my eyes are being damaged. The package comes with a small set of instructions and a strap for the glasses. The instructions direct you how to tie the strap onto the glasses. One of my only complaints is that you cannot fold these glasses up, they are fairly small as they is, but that would have been a nice extra.
