Ah, the joys of asparagus wee. I need to get out more!. Anyhoo, this is great stuff. Consistently sized spears, proper white asparagus flavour and, bearing in mind that there's no waste or woody bits to remove, good value for money, imo.Is it as good as fresh, particularly new season British? Of course not, but then, what canned or jarred fruit or vegetables are as good as fresh?.But it's still damn good, particularly if drained and heated in a li'l butter. Only minor niggle is that I like my veg "al dente", and whilst this is not soft or mushy, it is very tender. Hey ho, no biggie.Will I buy again🤔? Oh yes👍!.

These jars of white asparagus spears are very reasonably priced. Having lived in Switzerland and Germany I am used to white asparagus. Very occasionally, the odd spear can be a bit stringy at the cut end, but I find this asparagus delicious so I just deal with the odd stringy bit. I have them mostly on open sandwiches together with sliced hard boiled eggs and a good quality mayonnaise. Delicious!

Tasty and enjoyable. A little expensive, especially 12 jars at a time, but they will keep well. And CERTAINLY much better value than some of the exorbitant prices being asked on Amazon for ONE jar of asparagus!!

If you like to eat asparagus anytime anywhere anyhow then this is for you. Fuzz free. Reliable green giant quality. Competitively priced as cheaper by the dozen.

Bought them in one shop and they stopped stocking it, and another, finally found these and the service from the seller was fast and efficient and well I just love white asparagus, it goes beautifully with Fish and as a side with most things and has a very long use by date.

Very small asparagus but pleased to be able to buy as so many places no longer stock . Good value and I’ve ordered twice now and no jars have been broken which is surprising because they aren’t packed very well by Amazon .Better white asparagus is available from specialty food sellers, but at a considerably higher price

We love these asparagus as a side dish to cold meat and crunchy bread. They are a little mushy for some people, but they are not usually eaten alone so it is never a problem. We ordered 2x12 which were (oddly) packed differently, but without the warning of glass inside on the box. I watched the driver drop one and was worried. In the box they were in card trays in shrink wrap, sealed inside a double layer of bubble wrap and paper cushion and one even a double box - they initially appeared fine. But once inside all the packaging, (total 8 jars of the two parcels) had leaked, some tops dented, making a soggy mess and work to wash all the rest off. So, if you factor in losing some in the gamble, they can be a lovely cupboard staple. The other odd point it is that the shrink wrapped product has an odd scent as if someone had been smoking near them. Only on the asparagus shrink wrap and card tray, not at all on the Amazon stuff which was absolutely immaculate and dry. A two second riddle that was binned and soon forgotten with dinner.
