I purchased 3 of these on sale for myself and 2 of my kiddos. They come charged at 69% but instructions say to run the battery down before charging. They attach VERY snuggly to my phone case and do charge. They get warm but not excessively. I love that it has a little stand on it so I can set it down while charging, yet watch a video hands free. It's so portable it can go in a pocket, purse, backpack, or anything else really. Just an overall great purchase.
