Pros:• Warm in winter and with a low-enough profile to fit under a parka or hoodie hood for winter riding. Also works great with an ear band.• Visor is great for sunny days without impairing vision• Pretty designs get lots of compliments around the stable• Good coverage to protect your noggin• One of the more affordable pieces of equestrian gearCons:• Doesn't breathe as well as you'd think with all the vents, so it gets kinda sweaty in warm weather, but not unbearably so.

Love my new helmet! Trying to help grow the acceptance of running barrels in helmets. I rode the trails competitively for years, always with a helmet, but was shocked to see that one of the fastest and most dangerous sports of barrel racing has not yet accepted the use of helmets. These helmets are so comfortable you forget that you are wearing it. Be safe!

Most comfortable helmet I have ever owned in my 20 years of riding. Feels like a memory foam hat around your head. I normally get slight headaches when wearing hats for too long, but I can't even tell I'm wearing this.

So comfortable! My kids tease me because I don't take it off right way after riding. I forget I have it on. Very light and love the magnetic closure on the straps.

This is my 3rd Intrepid helmet as I have not come across another helmet I like better. Very nice design and works well with my English and Western riding.

Product was just as described. The measurements listed were a great help in choosing the correct size. The product was made of quality materials and the guide to insuring a great fit were very helpful. I would definitely buy this product again.

Nice helmet. It does make my head get sweaty though.Seems to be made well. I like the magnetic chin closure.
