Q: Anyone else having sync issues when connected to the hot shoe (a6000 here)?

I have used it on Sony RX1, and I don't have any sync issues

Q: Does this work with Sony zv1?

It should as long as you are not expecting it to be a continuous light source for video. It will work as a strobe for a still camera but that is all. For more details, you should Google a question like "Will Godox strobes work with the Sony ZV1."
