Mapei Keracaulk U Unsanded Caulk (Charcoal) - 10.5-oz

I was slightly hesitant about buying this caulking because of the trouble I have had in the past finding the appropriate color. I threw so many bottles of other “dark grey” caulking. I needed them to match my tile grout and they were WAY too light. This is the ONLY caulking I found that it true to the color of the image. It was easy to use and had a great formula. I would definitely recommend it.

This is great for your boots, helmet, gloves, goggles, and a few other small things. My pants and jacket would not fit but I knew that when I purchased this bag. It’s great and the quality is really good. Overall I’m very impressed and happy with my purchase.

Perfect color match. Product was a bit dry upon arrival. Perhaps mine was old?!

Seems to expand and contract as I wished

Mapei is the number one caulk to use for your shower/tub projects. So, why the three stars?First is for the price - this is about 2-1/2 times what I paid at a local building materials location I was unaware of until I bought this and the tile guy came out to use it on our shower. When he noticed it was the wrong color, he directed me to try the local shop.Second is for their selection. They have very few choices compared to the Mapei catalogue. It just so happened Charcoal is nowhere near Black.

I had a surprisingly hard time finding dark grey tub caulk to finish my tub against dark tile, but this is it. Goes on like a dream and stays true to color when it dries.

Exact match of charcoal grout. Like any caulking job, it's difficult to get the caulk width and shape just the way you want, especially while leaning over a countertop and trying to be neat, but most of the joints look just like a grout joint.

Time to recaulk my “thunder” colored Porcelain sink. This is it! Very dark grey, blended perfectly…
