Meister Mesh Duffel Backpack Dive Bag w/Dry Pocket for Scuba & Snorkeling

It was really helpful to have such a strong but lightweight and easy to pack bag with us for international travel. On a recent dive trip, we decided to take our gear instead of renting, but the luggage weight restrictions meant that our other gear bags that each weighed about 4 lbs when empty, were too heavy and bulky. We found this bag, bought one and took it for a test run before traveling. It was great! All the gear was easily accessible and the bag handled the weight of one person's full kit (bcd with 6 lb back-plate, long hose 1st and 2nd stages, fins, mask, snorkel, back up regulators 3mm full adult wet suit, safety reels, guages, dsmb, flashlight, drybox, etc..) both dry and wet with no issues. We bought a second one for the trip and plan to get two more for additional equipment. I initially thought it was a little pricey for a mesh bag, but now I feel that Strong it was worth every penny.

Love this bag! I'm a divemaster on and off the boat a lot. I need a gear back that will be easy to pack, carry, stay closed, and lightweight but strong. I really dislike the bags with drawstring at the top because they always seem to come undone while walking. This bag works well for scuba gear and the perfect size to carry for a woman (I'm 5'2"). I love the versatility of the shoulder straps or backpack style while still getting the ease of loading like a duffel bag instead of stuffing from the top. It's nice that it has a dry bag on one end and a small zippered pocket on the inside. I was able to fit my BCD, fins, regulator bag, mask container, and a 5 mm wetsuit with no problem. Highly recommend!

By far the best mesh bag I have purchased thus far!!! Yes it actually is a mesh bag. The sides are constructed with multiple layers of mesh that are layered so as to keep the contents of the bag concealed!!! It doesn’t seem to interfere with air flow or prevent any drying. The exterior upper pocket is large enough to store all those extras that you might not want to get wet. Seem to actually be water proof!!! I was able to store my post dive hoodie in it during a rain shower and had a perfectly dry hoodie to put on after my dive. Great construction, super convenient, and at a really great price!!!

I love this bag! So far everything in the "dry pocket" has stayed dry, which is a pretty big deal for me. Unlike other mesh dive bags, this one offers privacy in the main compartment while still not locking the water in the bag. This bag has all the room you need for your drive equipment, as long as you're not carrying multiple wetsuits anyways. I've got 2 pairs of fins, mask and snorkel, beach towel, octopus, and bcd in there and there's still wiggle room. I also have a full size notebook, dive log book, wallet, watch, sunglasses, and keys in the dry pocket. The only improvements that could be made - the handle/straps. I've never worn this thing like a backpack, and probably never will. I wish it just had one adjustable strap, but that could just be me, so it's not worth taking a star off. Overall, this bag can't be beat.

This dive bag is the best for the price. It is made of great material, very well made. Heavy duty zipper and it also has a dry pouch on the end of the bag. The dry pouch is a very important feature, i use this to keep my wallet and keys during a dive. The bag is big enough to hold all my gear and it is very easy to transport. This bag is shorter than my other bags and this is a feature because it holds your gear tightly. You do not want a bag too big to where your gear is loose inside and can move around and break. This bag is full with all my gear and holds it tightly to keep anything from moving. In my opinion this bag is the perfect size for a full set of gear. The bag will allow your wet gear to drain from the inside however it is slightly water resistant on the outside. The bag will resist mild ocean spray to allow you to have dry gear when you reach the dive site.

I purchased this as my MMA bag. Meister does make an MMA bag, but this dive bag has better straps so the bag can be carried over the shoulder or as a backpack, and the current MMA bag only has shorter tote handles (why!!!). From the pictures, the MMA bag has miserably tiny side zip pockets for personal gear, and this dive bag has one larger waterproof one, which fits what I need.I was able to fit two pairs of boxing gloves, headgear, mouthguard, wraps, shin guards, wrestling shoes, my gi, kneepads, first aid kit, and towel. There is plenty of room in there for an extra set of clothes and other gear. This bag is HUGE but is also light and squishes down so it doesn't look enormous. You cannot see your gear through the dark mesh. I could fit inside this bag, but it is not unwieldy at all.I just received this today, so I can't testify to it's durability. It does seem to be well made. The mesh is thick and looks like it will hold up to some abuse. I'd add a keychain loop and ring on the inside of the side pocket.

As my diving equipment continues to accumulate (you know what I mean), I was looking for a sturdy boat duffel for my gear. Dive gear is very expensive, so we all want to transport it safely from the car to boat. I am extremely happy with this bag. I have used it on several dives now and holds my entire kit. You can either carry like a duffel bag, or backpack. Very nice waterproof end pocket that holds more than it looks like it would, and the zipper is heavy duty. I would purchase again or recommend to a friend.

purchased this bag to house oversized yoga mats. This handles 1/2 inch mats that are more than 24 inches with ease. In fact i load my bag with one 1/2 inch mat, and another 5mm mat, 3 yoga blocks and 2 yoga towels with room to spare for another block or two. This is a very tough bag and it's mesh design allows my mats to dry after use. very happy with my purchase. I think the only thing I need to do to it is add a zippy pull as the zippers are smallish and harder to find in a dark yoga studio. It also has the added benefit of making ppl wonder what kind of mixed martial arts are being taught at my studio.

Strong, light, well made. Very good bag. I have so many various bags as I teach Krav Maga and am always trying different bags. It's an obsession. The complete perfect bag is not out there. Like the most perfect person who ticks all the boxes, all of them. They don't exist either. So with feet on the ground and with a fair and honest assessment, you got to weigh the pro's and con's, and stay with her or move on. Same with this bag, assessing the pro's and con's, I give this bag five stars, because it's a keeper!

Really impressed with this bag - tonnes of room for my kit and then some! Also love the idea that I can carry it on my back, with chest and waist straps to support it. The bag itself is very lightweight so will be great for travelling. Looking forward to trying it out.

I bought this bag for the diving trip to St. Lucia and the zipper broke on the second day of use. Doesn't close at all. I was really pissed-off because I had to be extra careful not to drop my regulator, fins, and BCD when walking to and from the diving boat - there was no way to close the bag and I couldn't replace the zipper while at the resort.Considering all positive reviews for this bag here on Amazon, I am going to ship the broken one back to Amazon and buy another one for my next trip, hopefully it will behave better...
