Does the film adhere to the bulb itself? can i use it on a light fixture that has an open shade that exposes the led bulb?

1st off all LightDims are for LED lights only. Never put LightDims on anything that gets over 205 degrees F. It is important to determine the temperature of the lights (where you intend to apply the LightDims) because the adhesive can start to liquify, above 205℉, the higher you go in temperature the worse the problems become. Above 230℉ The Material will start to get soft, and ripple, above 250℉ The material may start to melt. None of these effects are good for your Light. If our products are placed on a halogen bulb which can get over 300℉ the bulb may burst!

is it self adheisive?

hi Robert i have not yet used the light ones but the black ones that i bought ages ago self adhere. perhaps email lightdims support to be sure. they are very helpful. hope this helps

Can this be used on a tv screen at night?

I would not recommend it. The sheets are too small 8.5 x 11. Also the image on the TV would no longer be clear. Since it’s a sticky you cannot put it on and off it’s good for when use only

Can you use these on solar tube lights ?

Yes, I believe so. There would definitely not be any danger in trying.
