I have a sander that takes 1.25 inch sandpaper disc that cost $30 for 25. I bought this 1.5" circle cutter to cut my own sanding disc from 5" sandpaper. It works very well

I had to cut out 225 circles for a VBS project last week, and I was able to complete the job in about half an hour with this product! It is nice and sturdy, cuts through cardstock with ease, and I LOVE that you can see what you’re cutting — that’s not the case with many paper punches I’ve used. I plan to get other paper punch sizes from this company for future projects.

I cook a lot and have a 6 foot spice rack totally filled with spice bottles. I could not read all the front labels on the bottles and it was impossible to quickly locate the exact spice I needed or keep track of their expiration date.I have several of these punches in various sizes to cut circle labels to fit my spice bottles. I print the Spice Name with Expiration Date on the computer using a circle template that fits punch size. I apply clear tape over the paper labels, punch them out and glue them to the jar lid with a washable kid friendly glue stick. The labels are a major time saver and allow me to read the spices with their expiration, at a glance.The punch is precise and easily cuts through the clear tape that I use to seal the print from rubbing off the label.I also use these punches to make gift tags. I print the gift tag on the computer and punch it out. It looks very professional and makes a nice presentation to a food gift or present.

This type of circle cutter seems to work better than other types. I have cut hundreds for my crafts and find that they do the job. They are fairly easy on the hands. Much better than other types I tried.

for my project i needed 3 different sizes of circles cut out from 2mm of fun foam and there are no tools anywhere that say it can cut foam except this one. It's not the best cutter as you can see by my picture but it's really much faster then cutting 300 of these by hand. One thing I've noticed though is you will get an oval shape if you cut the foam by itself and then need to trim it which won't look as perfect. Also one edge doesn't punch cleanly when using the foam alone. To avoid this problem I cut the foam with a piece of card stock behind it and the circle punch came out much cleaner and most times perfect. I ordered these in 1.5, 1", 3/4" and just ordered the 1.25" just in case I need that size in the future. I've also checked everywhere and Amazon's price for these punches are the cheapest.

This size circle punch works great! I use it all the time. It was worth the cost and I would recommend it.
