This case is durable and made well- what you expect of gator. It fit my buddy's Gibson guitar perfectly!

Very durable. I’m concerned about the metal around the opening. I’m afraid I’m going to scratch the guitar sometime when I might not be paying close attention. Be careful, and you’ll be fine. 5 stars otherwise.

Did you get a brand new Gibson SG Standard with a gig bag? Did you think about getting a good Hardshell case? Good. This case is an excellent choice for a Gibson SG. Gator makes great cases and this one has all the right stuff. Not as much storage as the Gibson gig bag provides but much better protection. I still carry a backpack for cords and accessories I need for a gig.

I'm pleasantly surprised with the fit, especially after reading some of the reviews, and the fact that my SG is custom built. SG's are notoriously hard to fit given the fact that they have a 2-to-3-degree tilted neck angle. Case seems to be pretty sturdy as well. No problems here.

I gifted my grandson with an inexpensive SG. He needed a fairly substantial case to get it back and forth to lessons etc. Settled on this one for him because I have many other Gator cases in my guitar collection. They are a great quality product and a little pricey as a result. But they protect an instrument as good as any high end case I've used. Highly recommended and no disappointments.

The case is solid as with all products from this company. The sizing is a little off on the internal for a epiphone sg it fits but quite tight. I used a 1inch piece of poly foam for the cavity of the case for the body giving it a more even sitting position for neck and body alignment.

Advertised to fit an SG, it’s a little loose. Certainly not snug. Quality is so-so, I wouldn’t take it on the road. It’s fine for my purposes. Ill probably buy a strip of foam to wrap around the headstock.

Mit etwas Schneidarbeit an der Dämmung und wiederankleben vom Plüsch, paßt auch eine Hagström F 300 hinein. Der Koffer wurde als B Ware gekauft und hatte kleine Kratzer, die nur im Gegenlicht zu erkennen sind. "Geaged" ohne Aufpreis, auch ok.

Este estuche es especial para las guitarras SG, tanto gibson como epiphone, ya que los estuches genéricos son más cortos. La mía es epiphone. El espacio interior es perfecto para mantener la guitarra segura evitando que se mueva o que se desafine por girar los pernos de la cabeza. El envío menciona alrededor de 3 semanas o más pero tardó 5 días en llegar aproximadamente por lo que ahí le puse su estrellita. El estuche lo tengo para que en el caso de que mi bebé entre a la recámara donde lo tengo guardado, no agarre mi guitarra. Siempre lo tengo en la misma recámara con foamy, sin riego de impacto. Aun así, el estuche ya se rompió. El uso es muy muy ligero como para que en un par de meses de tenerlo guardado ya presente un daño fuerte. Es solo abrirlo para sacar la guitarra y después guardalo para cuando vuelva a tener tiempo para tocar. No se si tiene garantía o no pero definitivamente no lo recomendaría. No soy una persona destructiva. El otro estuche que tengo para una ibanez lo tengo desde hace más de 25 años y ahí sigue (claro, tiene algo de corrosión en las bisagras, pero nada de qué preocuparse. fácil me dura otros 25 años) pero si estoy muy decepcionado de la calidad de este estuche. Espero que mi estuche sea el 1 de un millón con esa falla, porque se supone que esta marca es de las mejores. Esto es solo mi experiencia personal. He visto otras reseñas donde hablan de lo bien que está hecho el estuche.
