Really good.... better than I expected actually.
I bought this because it had all the attachments I wanted, and based on the star rating it looked like a good purchase. After I bought it, I started reading some of the reviews. Silly, I know, but there you go.I think there must be some quality control issues, because it seems that the item is either really well rated, or completely slated. I have been lucky, and I think these are fantastic trimmers at a great price. The item was bought to replace a Wahl head trimmer that I bought in about 2005, and a Babyliss beard trimmer that I bought in about 2008. Both were basic, I've had my money's worth and it was time to go cordless.I wanted these specific trimmers because I use all of the different attachments. I shave my head to the bone, I have a beard, I'm of an age where hair is growing from ears and nose.... cor, what a stunner ;)The trimmer arrived well packaged, with a full battery charge and the entire ensemble of attachments. There's a great little stand for all the pieces, some oil and a basic travel bag.Mindful of reviews about blunt shears, I fired it up and tentatively ran it over my head. Wow! No resistance, no pulling, a clean line of stubble straight up the middle of my barnet! Nice. The rest of my head was effortless. Wish I'd bought it ages ago, I've been slowly labouring over my head with my old Wahl cutters for a long time, didn't realise they were so blunt. Did a full head shave in under five minutes, and didn't have to dodge around any wires while I was doing it. Result.Beard next, it's medium thickness but with coarse bristles. The instructions for changing heads on the trimmer are a bit cryptic, but it's actually really easy, the top just pops off with a light bit of thumb pressure, and then you slot the new one in. If you pay attention to where it hooks in, putting attachments back on is intuitive from that point on. I started off with the narrow trimmer for round my lips, far easier than what I was able to do with my old trimmer - it was too wide. Squaring off the edges on my cheeks and jaw with the wider trimmer worked well; I was able to get clean and sharp lines on the first pass. I used the adjustable guard to do the rest of my face and it worked well. The shape of the adjustable guard makes it difficult to get right under your nose, but I was able to do that freehand. The ajustable guard also made it really easy to fade in my sideburns at the top, no problem at all.The ear and nose trimmer works a treat. Not really much to say there - stick it in the appropriate hairy hole, and that hole becomes hairless. Job done.I plan to attack my son's hair with it in the near future. He's got proper thick hair so we'll see if it's up to the job. Even if it isn't, he's lucky enough to not look like Phil Mitchell yet (unlike me), so he'll be getting a '4 all over' with the old trimmers and liking it.It'll be interesting to see if these stand the test of time, but I think they're great and would recommend them.

great machine for the price.
Great machine, I am growing old, gracefully, and like think I look after myself but as my moustache and beard grew it was great but I found it increasingly difficult to keep them tidy and to look smart, this machine did that and can do more, would have given 5 stars if they made the same body to fit just one charger, in saying that it is a great buy if you cant or don't want to spend £25+ at the local barber to do the same job.

Great Value, Super Battery Life and Just Good Sturdy Clippers!
If you're looking to become the next Nicky Clarke then perhaps you want to go for a higher price point but if you're like me who just want a trim to get you through lockdown these are perfect. That being said I'm sure if you had hairdressing experience you could give some professional haircuts with these. The overall feel and quality of the unit itself is sturdy and with a bit of weight to it for a good grip. The combs are easily attached on top of the blade to choose the length you want cutting. The interchangeable heads are a bit fiddly but do a job. As I got this for my hair I haven't needed to change it for the nose trimmer or other purposes. Speaking of the interchangeable heads one of the plus points is that when you take the razor off you can easily clean underneath where hair gets trapped. This stops the blade from getting clogged. The battery life on this is very impressive and does last a solid about of time, I've got over 40 mins before which is more than enough time to get a good trim. It also charges really fast too so if you're taking a lifetime to cut your hair you can have a cuppa and it'll be ready for use again. The charging stand is a bit flimsy but it works and charges well so it's not really a problem. Overall I fully recommend these in particular for the great price. I bought them to do a one-off job but in fact, will be using them time and time again.Just as a recommendation based on my experience: You will need to buy a better comb as the one provided is a bit small. You will also need a pair of professional hair cutting scissors to go with these as you'll never be able to get a good cut (Unless it's a buzz cut) without them. They are available on Amazon both for under £10 though and fully worth it. Make sure like these clippers they have a good review. When you get to cut your hair please don't make the mistake I did which was to go straight in with the clippers with the short comb if your hair is medium/long length. This will make it very time consuming trying to level out your hair. I have learned it is much better to cut your hair down with scissors to a shorter length and then work your way down from a larger comb attachment to a smaller comb attachment. And be sure to google/watch someone who's done it before to get the best tips. On my first attempt, I went straight in like I was Edward Scissorhands and ended up having to wear a cap for a few months. If you take your time and take care you'll get a good trim. I hope this helps some fellow hairdresser newbies out there.

Great purchase. Well worth the price 👍
Very handy clippers. I haven't used all the attachments but the ones that I have I'm very pleased with.Changing the hair cutting attachments does take a bit of getting used to but after a few attempts you realise how easy it was to do in the first place.During lockdown I was desperate for a hair cut so that was the reason for my purchase. Thankfully I managed a decent fade in to the back and sides and did it by myself. So to me, that explains ease of use.Very comfortable to hold and the battery life is 60mins so I've managed 3 trims now on a single charge. The clipper comes fully charged and ready to use so I was more than happy with that as I could get straight on with the job without having to charge up first. A charge itself is fairly quick taking around 15mins for a full charge. All in all, great purchase. Loads of attachments to choose from with a great battery life too.I highly recommend this clipper due to its light weight compared to most others, especially electric. So very happy with purchase and deserves all the great reviews that it gets in its own right.Off now for another trim. Keeping as trim as tom cruise gets addictive lol.Good luck to all 👍
