A pleasant yet discreet aroma
I am using as an aftershave and works great for me. I get what I need after a close shave but I don't spread the perfume all over where I go. It is a discrete men cologne.

It's Good, Not Great
I saw this mentioned online, and thought I'd try it. I particularly like the scent of conifers, so I figured it would be right up my alley. No real surprise to me, it wasn't exactly what I wanted. The pine scent is present, but more abstract than I'd have preferred. There's nothing wrong with it, but it's a traditional cologne, or whatever you want to call it, so it initially has an alcohol note with the carrier, and the scent is more varied than being simply pine. It is fairly unique, and smells good, but a simple extracted oil is what I think I really wanted. That said, I will likely buy it again eventually. This bottle should last a good long while. It's a good value, and the packaging is attractive.

Smells nothing like pine
Smells horrible. Smells nothing like a pine. Do not buy. Look for another one of you’re looking for that pine scent.

Timeless scent
I found this cologne on a whim. It was cheap so I wasn't expecting much. Once I tried it for the first time it was a hit. It's very clean and pine smelling. I receive compliments from women and men. I recommend this old time fragrance from the 50s and 60s. I truly believe Pino Silvestre was way advanced for its time period. The scent stays with you for a least 4 to 6 hours before having to spray again. Give it try IF you dare!! 👌🏽👌🏽

Smells like Christmas
For starters, if your over the age of 40 and like the smell of Christmas then this is scent for you. By no means I am I saying that your “old” once your 40 but this cologne has a more mature smell. Like something as a young child I would remember smelling on my father or grandfather. It is not at all a bad thing. I actually think it smells good but I feel like I am about 10 years away from rocking this cologne. However, if you live in the north where pine is very common and you live in the woods then this may work for you, no matter what your age is. A side from that I think it’s more of a seasonal cologne for the younger man.Would I recommend this cologne? Well, perhaps if you meet certain criteria like I specifically mentioned above, however I wouldn’t recommend gifting it. I am 30 years old with 2 young kids and I still don’t feel like I am quite to the “age” group that I would expect this cologne to be in, however that is just my opinion. Each to their own. I would just recommend you purchase with caution. For me it’s a 3 star. Mostly because I think it smells good. It’s just not for me.

Weird and Wonderful: Not for Everyone
Some will take the piss and laugh, deciding this is PineSol in a carry-on bottle. Fair enough: it *is* piney. (The name and bottle should be a clue.)But on the right person there's something nigh magical about this. It was a classmate in Scotland circa 1994 who introduced it to me -- she kept a bottle on her shelf, and schooled me in the fragrance's history. I strongly, strongly encourage discerning men to give it a try. Best suited for light pursuits, day or night, dressed smartly down rather than smartly up. Tweed: yes. Silk: no. Corduroy? Absolutely. Denim? Why are you wearing denim? Yes: it will make you think of shopping for fresh-cut Xmas trees; but on the skin it transforms into alpine sublime.
