Terrific Beans
Eden Foods soaks organic beans overnight, drains the water, then cooks the beans in pressure cookers. You are getting the highest quality beans. They cost a little more but are well worth it. My daughter and I love them. She 's not a big fan of high sodium foods so she likes the fact that these beans don't have added salt.

Beans good dented cans bad
I love love love Eden's products. I use so many I can't keep track. I am vegan, I consume A LOT of beans. They are 2.49 a can in store so when I came across this deal, which figured out to be 1.57 a can I thought woohoo! Well...I knew it was too good to be true. I also knew as picky as I am when I choose canned goods, checking each one carefully for dents, I was taking a risk ordering them online. That proved to be true. Out of the 24 (black and garbanzo) 18 were dented! That is crazy. They had a dent near either the top seam or bottom. Amazon was great, since item is not returnable they refunded my money within 24 hours. It killed me to get rid of those dented cans....I mean truly made me cringe but I couldn't take risk, I have 3 kids to think about. So...I give amazon's shipping dept. 1 star. They should check before shipping and then pack with cardboard dividers. They are not realizing how much money and good food they are wasting by sending out dented canned goods. As far as product, well 5 stars of course. I highly recommend Eden's. Delicious and bpa free and HEALTHY!

I'm Crazy For These Beans! I Purchase A Dozen At A Time!
Eden Organic Black Beans are my favorite canned, black beans! I wish they were priced a lot lower. Whole Foods is selling them for 29.88 a case. They’re delicious and gorgeous. One of my favorite flavorful and healthy recipes: Pour out most of the liquid and toss the beans in a pot. Add organic cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, and a hint of chipotle. Also toss in organic corn, diced red onion, red bell pepper, green onion, chopped cilantro, chopped mint, and fresh chopped garlic. Warm the ingredients on medium heat for approximately five to eight minutes. Don’t overheat or the ingredients will turn to mush. Once it’s cooked, top it with fresh avocado, lime juice, cilantro & mint. Toss all of the above ingredients plus avocado and chopped Romaine Lettuce over a crispy, corn, organic, tortilla, and you’ll have a lovely tostada. Add a bit of salsa and/or hot sauce and you’re good to go! No tortillas in the house? Scoop up the goodness with tortilla chips and top with salsa. Yum!BTW, Eden Foods is the only company that I know of that makes salt-free, organic, canned beans, without adding BPA(or the latest chemical hormone disrupter the EPA allows). It’s really important for us to support this company! And, I love Eden’s Garbanzo Beans for hummus.

100% worth the price
These are 100% worth the price. I also got the garbanzo beans, kidney beans and white beans. These are delicious and the only canned source I can find that's organic, tastes good, has no BPA in the can lining and ALSO doesn't try to line it with other sneaky stuff.Buy this! :)

Delicious - my favorite black beans
First off, I bought a 12-pack of these back in 2012 for under $14. They were a great deal at that price and about the same price as buying organic black beans at my grocery store. At the current price of $26, though, I'll pass. These are delicious and my favorite black beans. The seaweed adds a little something to it that I really like. After buying a pack and tasting them, I went back to Amazon to buy more - only to find that they weren't available any more (and it was just a few days later). I'm happy to see that you can at least buy these again, but the price is quite a bit higher now.If you can find them at a price that you think is good, then I absolutely recommend trying these. I haven't had any since that were quite as good as these.
