NWSFantastico 138-69-180 Workshop Side Cutters with Facet, 180 mm

After tiring of cheap cutters that are ruined by cutting lightweight music wire, I sprung for these. Super quality, super sharp, and it is "geared" (no actual gears) to provide mechanical advantage to the hand levers. I'm tossing my other ones in the metal recycling bin, they are not worthy. Tools should be a lifetime investment. Pay for quality and use it for life.

What a nice tool. Great action, super powerful cutting, I have cut steel with it with no damage to the jaws. Very comfortable. I wish the jaws opened a little larger but the is the cost of compound leverage

If you want a pair of dikes that can cut through nails, and even grade 8 small bolts. You will not find them anywhere else. These are the ones. I have bought about fiver pairs of these. For my self, and my carpenters, these are absolutely a must.

NWS tools are excellent quality, made in Germany. The quality is as good as Klein, but about 50% cheaper.

Finest hand tools I have ever used. Expensive but worth every cent if you want the best.

These cutters cut better than any pair of dikes that I have ever owned, including Snapon and Knipex. Unfortunately, the jaws only open to about half that of my Klein dikes and Channellock dikes. These dikes can cut steel wire with ease, the reason I purchased them. NM cable will fit into the jaws fine, but MC cable will be too big. Not sure what the purpose is of high-leverage cutters if they can't open wide enough to cut thick cables.

Does not open wide enough or even easily enough to strip a 12/2 mc

Loved them. They have lost a bit of the sharp cut on the tip but other than that great tool.
