Janome Sewing Machine Cover for 3050 8077 2010 and more Part#479701118

Got for model dc2010 and it fits great. There's no need to unplug your sewing machine or remove the spool of thread on top, it slides over them and fits snugly. The spool of thread is visible, and there is room to reach in and grab the sewing machine handle. Nice finishing touch. Keeps the sewing area neat and is easy to remove when you return to your project.

I purchased this cover for a Janome DC2019 sewing machine that didn't have a cover. It fit my machine and keeps the dust off. The $50+ price seemed high, but was in line with other suppliers.

I bought two of these for my Janome 8077 sewing machines. They are great hard shell covers. They are not what I consider a carrying case as the item does not have a base. It fits over the top of the machine and allows you access to the handle. For my purposes, it works great. If you want a case that secures the machine completely inside, this is not the item for you.

This isn't anything spectacular, but it's exactly what I expected. The reviews I read were accurate. My biggest complaint would be that it's just cheap plastic, but it cost over $50 -- which is overpriced. I also don't like the hole in the top, but I understand why it's there -- bc the sewing machine itself has a built-in handle, and they've made the cover so you can USE the handle (thank you). I'm used to a nice heavy cover (with a handle in the top of the cover) for my old Singer machine that actually locks onto the machine itself. It covers the machine, but it's a carrying case, not just a dust cover. This is nothing more than an expensive -- cheaply made -- dust cover. Having said that, I couldn't find ANY other alternatives. So, it'll do the trick. When I'm storing the machine, I'll just cover the hole with a cloth towel or something to keep the dust out of the top of the machine. This is my first Janome machine, and I've read good reviews about them. You'd think they could come up with a better solution for a cover/carrying case.

Heavy gauge hard plastic case that fits the Janome line of sewing machines. Glad to have the extra protection for my sewing investment. Well shipped, too.

Although it says it fits the Janome 7318, it does not. Took forever to get and had to return immediately. :(

Someone said in the questions that this fits a model 6600. It does not! It is very much too small. Returned.
