Great for covering open wounds as they don’t stick.

It is very good for wound care.

Very pleased with this Adaptic dressing for wound care. It DOES NOT stick to wounds (at least not to my open wound). It has some chemical on the light weight mesh that keeps the mesh from sticking to the wound. Very easy and painless to remove. My first experience with this product was part of the wound dressing applied in the ER at the hospital. So impressed with the ease to use and painless application and removal of this dressing, that I immedicately ordered this on Amazon.

This product is designed to go over a wound to protect the wound, especially if a skin graft has been applied, so that gauze wrapping applied last does not stick to the wound.

This is the exact brand the hospital sent me home with after surgery to change dressings, so I was glad to find them here in bulk. Really help keep antibiotic ointment on without sticking, but they do seem to have a slightly smooth and slightly rough side, just make sure you fold the med in so the smooth part is against the skin, otherwise they’re a bit uncomfortable.
