Bosmere L451 Irrigatia C24 Automatic Watering Irrigation System, Solar Powered Plant Waterer,green

I just got my second irrigation C24 for my greenhouse. It might not be the easiest thing to set up but thankfully i had done it last year with my first one. Once set up, only the first 4 drippers were working. I emailed irrigatia and got an email back within the hour (I sent the email before walking the dog and their answer was waiting for me when i got back). I had put the drippers the wrong way in! Once i flipped them over, it was working perfectly. I have been having some health issues with many trips to the hospital. I know i don't have to worry about the plants in my greenhouse with this system. I would say, if you have a question just email directly irrigatia and it will be sorted. I had emailed them when setting up my first one and got great customer service.

Love the fact that it's automatically waters my greenhouse.Ok for smaller plants, but found that the cucumber and tomato plants still required a top up, even on full pump. When setting up, found that the sensor connector inside wasn't connected which was a bit head scratching to say the least

Purchased this prior to going on holiday so needed something to water the plants whilst we were away. Set up was easy enough but for some reason the pump would not work Immediately contacted Irrigatia Support and was in contact with George who immediately diagnosed a faulty pump and sent me a new pump which arrived the next day. I fitted it which was dead easy. System works fine but i think my water butt is too small because after 7 days away it was nearly empty. I used all the drippers but needed more but it was too late to order extras from Irrigatia so i fitted third party drippers which worked but they need to have an ajustable flow rate as if its to high it will affect the other drippers.This is a great little system and Irragtia's support is second to none!

This is a fantastic kit. I've been running it at my allotment, fed from a water butt and it's been working perfectly for a few months so far. The solar panel charges batteries up for three hours at a time then it uses the stored charge to run the pump until the charge runs down. That way, more water is supplied on sunnier days. You can also set the percentage of time spent charging to regulate the about of water delivered. Mine is connected to the 12 dripper extension and the seep hose extension (24 drippers in total) and it supplies these with no problem. I installed it to keep my greenhouse and the thirstiest plants (squashes, sweetcorn etc) watered while I was away for a couple of weeks in hot weather. It worked perfectly and I've been running it ever since. It uses about 5-10 litres of water per day on the full setting. One or two of the drippers needed twisting back and forth a bit to get them working at the start but have been fine since.

I hardly ever write reviews.I have struggled for years to get the maximum from my greenhouse. All my struggles have been down to watering.You go away for a few days getting someone to water correctly is a nightmare.So I too the plunge and bought this. I have no maons water nor electric near greenhouse so this was perfect. I like many was sceptical. But I have to say no need to fear. Even on its lowest setting gives a good watering with 24 drippers attached.Very simple to set up very simple to use. BUT....if like me you grow chillies. Then this tip may help. On the lowest setting at this time of year it gives too much water to my plants if watered daily. This had me scratching my head as turning off for a few days and back on is no worries when I'm here. But the big issue is when I'm not.Then I found an inline ball valve (really should include these in the product) I half close the ball valve and bingo much slower drips and as such much less water per plant.This has the added advantage as the pipes are split from a T piece. So one side from T goes to tomatoes at full pressure the other side goes to chillies at half pressure. Now I have one system watering correctly two types of plant at the same time without over watering my chillies.Really do not hesitate this thing 100% works.Best thing I have bought in years..

This is the second solar powered watering system I have purchased and I am delighted with both. I use them for hanging baskets and vegetables - beans. I like to top up the hanging baskets manually, but the drippers are fine for keeping them going for a couple of weeks if we go away. I had to replace the batteries on my older unit after the winter months but that was simple and everything worked again once this had been done.I also tried using a 'self watering' flower pot. This was more expensive than the solar pump, so I would consider the Irrigatia unit cost effective and reliable.

Bought this to water houseplants on my small flat balcony. It's OK, but the little connectors only come in connectors of three. If I were setting up a permanent system for a greenhouse, this wouldn't be a problem I don't think, but not having any straight connectors makes it rather frustrating to route the pipe.The main issue here is how unintuitive the controls are, in so many ways. It seems like the way this thing actually works is that it uses the batteries to regulate the sunlight input, and it runs continuously when the batteries are charged. That's what results in the 'may run for 3 hours on first run' thing in the instructions. Then, there are 6 settings and 'off' on the side and an LED that blinks continuously whenever it's *not* pumping water. In the same way, these settings do not actually change a timing mechanism but just divert *less* power from the solar panel to the batteries. The manual is contradictory about whether higher = more or less water, since it says the 3 mark is '3 hours between watering' (it is not). The lower settings are less water. Hopefully my plants survive being waterlogged 😔

I set this up for my tomato plants in a greenhouse in Alberta Canada and it watered on and off all day!I had a neighbour check on my garden when I was gone for a week. After I got back, she brought her friends over to tour my tomato jungle room! With the consistent watering, this product helped get some of my indeterminate plants to 9 feet! Extremely happy with it!!Glad I purchased two!

Perfect. Bought this for our rain barrel to irrigate 12 plants in our raised bed. Setup was fairly easy. I had to use the syringe to prime it initially as described in the manual for first start troubleshooting. It is great that it comes as a kit with all necessary pieces. It has worked flawlessly for a few days since. Will update if I have issues.Honestly.... I bought a refurbished model here because I wasn't so sure it would work based on some bad reviews online. Looking back thru them I'm pretty sure a lot of people are buying them expecting something much different and bigger. If you have something like a rain barrel and a small vegetable garden this is awesome. Look at the recommended number of spouts and distance, I'm pretty sure if you exceed it this won't work well. It is well tuned for what they give you.I was really surprised how great this is and how well it works. Im not a review person but this thing made me want to.

ne ho comprati 2 per il mio orticello, dopo nemmeno 1 anno si sono rotti entrambi, la pompa interna si è rotta non funzionava più ho sostituito la pompa e dopo pochi mesi rotta pure quella. Basta con me hanno chiuso anche se devo dire che l 'idea era comoda e funzionale, ma il prodotto non vale i soldi spesi.

Benutze das System auf meinem Balkon um Kübel, Kästen und Töpfe zu bewässern. Das funktioniert ausgezeichnet! Das System kann wirklich jeder aufbauen auch ohne Anleitung. Habe mir eine 300 Liter Regentonne mit aufgestellt aus der ich das Wasser entnehme. Das Funktioniert auch wenn man 2-3 Wochen weg ist zuverlässig. Die Tropfer war ich mir nicht sicher und habe noch welche von Gardena dazu gekauft was aber absolut nicht nötig ist und diese bringen auch keinen Mehrwert ausser dass man kann die Tropfmenge dann nochmals geringer Dosieren kann, dafür sind sie gut.Alles in allem Würde ich es jedem empfehlen der eine Zuverlässige Wasserversorgung für seinen sonnigen Balkon braucht auf dem auch 3m hohe Bäumchen versorgt werden müssen ;)Große Büsche,Bäumchen,Tomaten,Gurken,Reben und Blumenkästen... es passt für alles

This product is kind of a genius idea really. It works very well and requires very little hands-on tinkering. I've been using it for a couple of months now and it's kept my hanging vegetable and flower planters well watered even during a prolonged heat wave on the Canadian prairies. My only complaints are that the system (c24 version) is quite noisy when in operation. It turns on about every 3 hours on a sunny day and hums loud enough that I felt bad for my neighbours when they were outside near it. I googled "Irrigatia noise" and found a how-to video on how to cure it. Shoutout and thanks to Anders S for a great video. It's a bit of work and will void your warranty, but now the pump quietly purrs. I felt that there could have been more hose and drippers supplied with the kit, as the c24 will water 24 plants. If the hum isn't a problem for you it's a great system and spare drippers and hose as well as spare parts are available straight from the manufacturer.
