Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) - High Strength 50% Polysaccharides / 30% Beta 1,3/1,6 D Glucan - Dual Extracted - UK Manufactured - Zero Additives - Pullulan (120 Capsule Pouch)

This is the first Reishi product I have bought from this brand. The dual extraction is good, as the traditional hot-water extract makes one set of nutrients bio-available, and the ethanol extract makes a different set of nutrients bioavailable. If you just took powdered mushroom you wouldn't get the benefit as most of the medicinal qualities would not be bioavailable. It is quite hard to compare different products as the last Reishi product I bought had 4% Triterpenes and 15% Beta Glucans. This one has 50% Polysacharides and I'm not sure if that includes Triterpenes as I'm not a chemist!I think this is a superior product and the price is very good.

First time trying these mushrooms. I have experience using Lions Mane, as well as the other 'politically incorrect' variety.This branded Reishi Mushrooms you can actually feel the calming effect. I take two before bed and two in the morning and they really do work me. There's a slight 'microdose' feeling I get from these as well as an increase in the onset, duration and quality of sleep.I pair these up with Lions Mane.Will order again.Update: Can also report on an increase in memory retention.

Using for asthma in combination with sephora flavescens and liquorice root. I'm switching from using a steroid inhaler to the combination of the 3 herbs that are used in Chinese traditional medicine and ayurvedic (indian) practises for treatment of asthma and other allergies.It is definitely working for my asthma and I'm now on half the steroid dose, reducing the dose slowly. I've also had no hayfever symtoms since starting the 3 herbs, so I can chuck my antihistamines and hopefully the steroid inhaler soon.The capsule shells are natural, which is great, since synthetic shells can cause serious issues with blood sugar levels.I'm a doctor of medical statistics, and have done a lot of research into alternative treatments for asthma. Below is some detailed info on asthma, steroids and herbs. Feel free to ignore it!This combination of 3 herbs has been tested for the treatment of asthma in very high standard randomised control trials and has been proven to be just as effective as steroid inhalers.Steroid inhalers cause the body to reduce its own cortisol (steroid hormone) production, which in turn adds to the patient's need for steroid supplements. In contrast, the 3 herbs have been scientifically proven to significantly increase the body's production of cortisol, therefore restoring the patients levels to what they should be. You have to take the herbs 3 or 4 times a day, which is a lot. But I'd rather be strengthening my body holistically 4 times a day, than destroying my body twice a day with steroids.

Really wanted to love these but they made me ill. I had constant dry mouth to the point I felt like I was in a desert, no amount of water quenched my thirst. On the second morning of taking them I woke up and my tongue was double the size an inch of fur on it and all of the inside of my mouth was peeling away. Had to dispose of these unfortunately

Taking alongside mushroom complex. I have only been taking them for 1 week, and mainly for the hair and skin benefits. I have particularly noticed a drop in DHT related head itch and hair loss. And benefits such as increased energy, better mood, lower stress and reduction in blood pressure. Also my chronic inflammation has reduced, and subsequent pain.

Nothing changed so I don't know if they are working or not

The dark colour is a good indicator that they are good quality, only been taking them a week now so not sure how they are working
