No, the Cooling fan comes with a USB A-C charging cable.

Q: What's the battery life on the fan?

The battery life of the cooling fan is about 4 hours at the highest wind speed and about 6 hours at the minimum wind speed. The cooling fans will stop working after the power is consumed. It is recommended to use the distribution charging cable and right-angle adapter for charging.

Q: Will this fit in the original Steam Deck Dock with the cooling fan attached?

The Cooling fan is compatible with the Official Steam Deck Dock, but the ModCase is not compatible with the Official Steam Deck Dock.
