Stratux Strap Kit with Rubber Bumpers

[Update: the strap eventually stopped shedding, and the battery hasn’t fallen out. Seller says he chose the material for durability; stretchy elastic would have broken within a few months. For these reasons I’ve updated the rating.] I was disappointed by this strap kit...it's not a stretchable elastic strap, so the fit isn't very snug. The velcro "trimmings" keep coming out of this strap, too, seemingly endless. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew about these problems.

The strap holds the a battery pack I picked up at Fry's on sale onto the Stratux without any issues, though the fibers coming of the velcro is a concern. They get on the suction cups of the window mount and need to be brushed off to ensure the suction cups hold.

The stratux I received from the dealer came with a rubber band to keep the unit and its battery together. This strap while simple is so useful.

Works perfectly to hold the Anker PowerCore Slim 10000 battery and Stratux receiver together. ADSB-In is awsome, even if it doesn't show me all the traffic. Where I fly (CO Front Range) there are enough equipped aircraft that I can be a parasite and pick up their signals.

The strap is fine itself but I had a portable power bank which was too large for the strap to effectively hold both the power bank and stratux unfortunately.

For the price I thought it should be good quality, since if I were to buy separately the items I would end up with way more bumpers and cinch straps than I needed. But I’m disappointed that the strap sheds and leaves little pubes everywhere, and the bumpers are too small.

This strap makes connecting the battery to the Stratux very easy and provides good hold when in rough air.
