Personal Space Germ Free
I have been using on of these for years for a germ free qwerty key boardNever realizing I would need it for a face mask.Keep your washable masks clean, we breath out for a couple of reasons, one is to get rid of germs, some will cling to your mask. Give it a 10 second burst before putting on..Sorted

Buyer beware
Like a similar product on the U.S. Amazon, I would personally be very careful of believing the claims being made by this product--and would definitely not trust my babies health to this 'sterilisation' process. I am writing to the Wallace Cameron company to request the evidence they propose to have for the claims being made, but I'm betting I will get no reply...or that the evidence will be far from convincing...and most likely from unheard of 'laboratories' in far flung countries. If this technology was so good...why is it being manufactured by Wallace Cameron and not Philips, or Sony, or some leading health retailer. I would suggest that only a fool would part with his money on this one. Wait for a version from a trusted retailer like Philips before parting with your cash. Not sure this product would have made it through the Lion's Den. Please don't trust your or your child's health to this.

Some additonal help
Product is a handy size fits in handbag or pocket easily. We found it takes a litle while to 'warm up'. How much protection it gives isnt easily measured. We bought it to help 'protect' us from germs bacteria etc on a recent 2 week cruise and all I can say is that we managed to stay healthy! It would need a 'big' version to be really effective I think. The difficulty is how can anyone measure its effectiveness.

UV Light proven to zap superbugs
I notice that you're connected to a company - a competitor of Wallace Cameron perhaps, and therefore trying to rubbish their reputation? Here are the facts (and btw, I have no connection with Wallace Cameron or the seller of this product):-Ultra violet light was first proved to kill bacteria back in 1903; the research on this won the Nobel prize.-UV light is ALREADY used in food processing, water treatment plants, even in some enlightened hospitals, to kill bacteria.-UV-C light has been proven to kill 99.99% of bacteria and viruses on surfaces (as well as house dust mites and mould)at a wavelength of 254 nano meters.-At the proximity of 5-10cm to the surface, it does the job in 10 seconds, by destroying the DNA structure of the organisms.I could go on....but the real point is that it should be used in conjunction with normal cleanliness procedures. However, you don't always carry a bottle of disinfectant everywhere you go, so this is the next best thing, especially when you're out and about. And why don't Sony or Philips make it......because there's no mass market appeal for a product of this kind. The market wants HD 42" TVs, not something that might just save your life!

I assume it kills what it says
But how can a person know. I have been using these for years. Good for wash basins, taps and door handles when travelling or in restaurant toilets.
