Great with one adjustment
Like a lot of people, I suffer terribly with cold hands and cold feet. As my husband and I are keen walkers, this can be a real issue in the winter as the pain in walking boots can be quite severe.First thing to note is that each pair is individually wrapped. As I suffer much worse on one foot I decided to try only one foot heater and save the second one in the packet for the next day. Unfortunately the heat within them is activated as soon as you open the packet so both need to be used at once and you cannot save the second one.The second thing to note is that they are like big plasters that you remove the backing and stick to your socks. They are supposed to be positioned under the toes within your boots/shoes. However, after a couple of hours of heat, the chemical inside tends to harden and I found them slightly uncomfortable under my toes after a good (5+ hour) walk. For this reason I decided the next time to try putting them on top of my toes. I found this to be much more beneficial for both heating the toes and for comfort factor - now I don’t feel them, I just feel the warmth.Heat wise - they will never get as hot as a rechargeable hand warmer but they are hot/warm enough for a good 8 hours (the max I have tested them).Very portable, convenient and easy to use. I keep a pouch in my car and a set in my walking boots so I’ve always got one when I need them. They can easily be used in gloves as a hand warmer but the ones specifically for hands are usually a cheaper option.I bought these on offer and they have helped to eliminate painful walks. Very happy with the purchase and worth the 5 stars I’ve awarded.

nice product
when the temperature drops, my feet get very cold even staying indoor, no matter how many pairs of socks I wear my feet stay cold. I accidentally saw this foot warmer online and wanted to give it a try. There are 5 pairs in a pack, it cannot be re-use. The heat pad only last for about 4-5 hours and not what it says on the package for up to 8 hours. Temperature appear as soon as you put them on and heat will gradually increase until it reach to its hottest temperature in about 1-2 hours and then the temperature will gradually decrease. It is better to put a pair of thicker socks on because it can get very hot.My feet gets very itchy when the temperature start to increase, but then the itchy feeling disappear when the heat stabilised. In terms of comfort, you can feel that there is something underneath your feet but it doesn't cause any uncomfortable. The price is reasonable but it will be even better if the temperature can last a bit longer. I will consider purchase again.

Warmth for cold toes
When you first stick these in your socks they don’t seem very warm. That’s the good thing. They don’t get overall hot, just a continuous gentle heat for at least 8 hours. They are easy to wear and after a short while you’re not aware you have them on. Good value for money. Dont worry that they don’t seem very sticky, they don’t move!!

Not that warm & not that comfy
I'm a seasoned wearer of toe warmers and have been for several years as I walk my dog daily and have always suffered from extremely cold feet and chillblains, so I wear these most days through winter (i.e. if temps are under 5C!). Toe warmers have been a game changer for me as I pretty much stopped getting chillblains. That was, until I started using this brand of toe warmers this winter, so needless to say I'm disappointed. I guess you get what you pay for, as my usual brand I buy was significantly more expensive (over £1 a pair vs 72p a pair based on a pack of 40). These do heat up reasonably quickly (within a few mins of taking them out of their packet) so I can feel their benefit initially, but I've noticed they harden pretty quickly and start to feel lumpy, which makes them a lot more uncomfortable to wear Vs other brands I've used before. I also find they don't last more than 4 hours tops (certainly not 8 as they claim!) - so I can get a morning walk and a morning gym session (the gym is a studio in a warehouse with no heating so it's currently freezing!) with one pair, but by 2pm when I need to walk the dog again, they've lost their heat. For context, I wear these with merino wool socks and wellies (or regular socks and trainers for the gym) and they have enough space in them for airflow, so the issue is very much these toe warmers, rather than the way I'm using them.If you really suffer with the cold to the extent I do and spend a fair amount of time outdoors then I'd recommend the ones from the Heat Company instead if your budget allows. They're certainly the ones I'll go back to next time!

Ooooh lovely
I've always been that person who suffers with cold feet. And working long hours outside certainly doesn't help.Having tried thermal insoles and various sock types/combinations to no avail this things have been a game changer for me this past winter. So simple to use, and extremely effective. They don't quite cover the full width of the foot but the heat radiates out so well that it doesn't matter at all and they are very comfortable making it very easy to forget they are there. They stick very well, even after a long day it takes a really good pull to get them off my socks.I didn't complain about my cold toes once since I started using these and that's a win for everyone!

hot hands pads
i use these on my back and ribs and back on the kneck .. i stick them on the inside of clothing .. they last hours .. only thing you have to becareful of us wen using on body any air gets to em they swell up and go super hot you have to gently press the air out of them again or they will burn you .. or use in a glove on palms if disabled keeps hands super warm .. i used a couple of times in my shoes but went hard quickly and just hurt my feet then till i could remove em .. the hot hands bags are good as well .. i made small bags to pop em in wen they need a boost pop em on yer hip or pocket to allow body heat to heat em back up ..
