The first few chews are absurdly good. Sweet, bright, and aggressively juicy in a way that feels almost illegal for gum. It tastes like someone blended pineapple, banana, and the vague idea of “tropical happiness,” then compressed it into a little yellow stick. For a brief moment you feel like you have unlocked one of life’s simple pleasures, the kind that makes you pause and think maybe the world is not entirely terrible. Then the flavor vanishes like a magician who refuses to reveal the trick. It does not slowly fade or gently decline, it just leaves.
