Best used sparingly in wireless mode
I bought this to augment an old 12mini with a 75% battery. They magnetise together well through apple case and its like leaving it on a wired charging panel. If you leave it attached beyond 100 I found it bleeds away the rest of the store so it's not quite like a case with a battery. It's not too heavy and it feels very sensible and practical. It does somewhat defeat the object of the 12mini size ....but used sparingly it tripled battery life.We also tried with a 13 pro max. It didn't add much weight relatively to this much bigger phone and it came in very handy over the course of a long day event with lots of photos etc. It probably doubled the life.It also works particularly well on my older samsung S10, so much so I have ordered a magsafe case to attach it more securely. If you use it with a cable it seems to work like a very efficient power bank.Takes ages to charge which is a bit of a chore.4.5 stars for performance, 5 for quality and price.

Lightweight powebank
This Anker power bank is excellent for a battery backup when on holiday. It’s small, lightweight and clamps itself firmly to my phone. Its not particularly quick but these MagSafe batteries aren’t. When my iPhone started to run out towards the end of the day I could attach the power bank and continue to use the phone while it charged. It didn’t fall off and it charged an iPhone 14 once. It will charge more quickly if you attach the phone to the battery via a cable but that defeats the object if it.

Compact and powerful
Love this - it’s fast and easy to use; but it needs recharging often. That’s fine for me. But that’s why I took a star off.

Ideal portable charger for travel
The best portable charger I've used due to its lack of cables and accessories - you just stick it on and go! Of course, while the size makes it really easy to carry around and to keep your phone in use with it attached, it does also mean that it only holds about 1 full charge, but that tradeoff has been totally fine for me. I bought this particularly for a city break, andfound it was ideal for carrying round in my pocket all day then giving my phone a boost after lots of google maps / camera usage, then I just charged it back up overnight ready for the next day.One thing to note is that it can get very hot while in use, particularly if kept in your pocket! This has been fine so far, but wherever possible I try to keep it out on a table or in my hand to mitigate this slightly. All round great product though - decent charge speed for what it is, lightweight and slim for portability, battery indicator which is handy, good magnetic connection, and pleased it comes in interesting colours other than just black!

Convenient design, Poor execution
This is my first MagSafe battery that I have tried. Since Apple have discontinued their version of the battery, I thought the most obvious solution was to go to Anker. Positives about the batteries that it's a good quality build and is very convenient WHEN it is fully charged; you just pull it out of your bag, snap it on, then done. I found before that even when I carry a back up battery that I don't end up charging my phone because it's too inconvenient to run a cable from my back to my phone, so this solves that issue. The main problem is that the charging time is so excruciatingly slow it seems to me to defeat the purpose which someone like me would seek out this device in the first place. That is, if you are the type of chap who isn’t diligent about keeping everything charged at all times, having a slow charging time might as well mean you will almost never in the perfect situation where you’ll have remembered to charge your battery before you need it. This battery bank charges at ~8W. To someone who needs a quick top up within 30 minutes, this is a lot slower than other batteries which can do up to 20w, so you end up getting way less juice in a small window of time.Keep in mind there is also the issue with the inefficiency of wireless charging. This won't be a problem exclusive to this battery. So not only will your phone battery run very hot while charging, but it will also charge your phone very slowly. When I've had this battery on full, I've always tended to use this as a temporary backup battery to keep me going for a few more minutes rather than expecting it to top up my phone at all.

Great charger - new best friend
So, I recently snagged the Anker Power Bank, the 321 Magnetic Battery (PowerCore Magnetic 5K) version, and let me tell you, it’s like finding the missing piece to my tech puzzle I never knew I needed! This little gem packs a 5,000mAh punch, enough to keep my phone happily juiced up through binge-watching sessions or endless scrolling sagas. What really sold me was the magnetic feature. It’s like playing matchmaker between my phone and this power bank – they just clicked! No more fumbling with cords that play hard to get; this is the kind of relationship simplicity I’ve been dreaming of.It’s sleek, not too bulky, and carries the charm of being my emergency lifeline when I'm out and about. Whether it’s for capturing those spontaneous moments or ensuring my playlist never ends, this power bank has become my go-to buddy. In a nutshell, if you're on the lookout for a reliable, magnetic, and stylish power bank that sticks with you (quite literally), the Anker 321 is your match. It’s a little spark of joy in the tech world, and my phone definitely agrees!

Don’t buy! Doesn’t charge phone fully and overheats!
I don’t like this and wouldn’t recommend! I bought this about 2 weeks ago and i have used it. The first couple time I used it it was in my bag with money keys etc… it drained really quick without even charging my phone to full capacity. I then went to use again but not in bag left on side! The same thing happened! Battery drained and never charged phone! It also left my phone worryingly hot! It overheats your phone and the battery pack. it did this both in the bag and without! I personally would like a refund as it’s that bad! I’ve not used it since and regret purchasing!
