Yerba Mate Playadito 1000g

I'm hardly a Yerba Mate veteran or expert (nor from South America), but I've watched "Yerba Mate Lab" videos on youtube and got hooked on the idea of making this drink the traditional way. Playadito has the smoothest and most gentle flavor of all of the yerbas I've tried so far, although because of the style of yerba it is (Argentina style, I believe), it's more coarse-cut than you might be looking for. That's not a fault of this brand, it's just how that style is made. Try Canarias if you want a finer-cut yerba, but it's stronger, too.

I recommend starting with small amounts to allow your body and mouth to get accustomed to it. Personally, I prefer not to add sugar when drinking mate. I suggest trying it without sugar; it's how I believe mate should be enjoyed. You can pair it with something sweet if desired, but the mate itself, in my opinion, is best in its pure form. While it might be a bit pricey, I assure you it's worth the investment for the quality and experience it offers
