Perfect size

Seems to be sturdy enough and looks good mounted on the wall, obviously only time will tell whether it: a) withstands the weather and keeps the post dry; and b) whether it resists the dreaded rust. Really easy to attach to the wall, just 4 screws; the longest job was getting it level, holding it still and marking where to drill.

Would have given 5 stars if the lid opened further. Otherwise great item. I like that large items don't need to be folded or pushed/squeezed into it. Good value for money.

Is ok size wise, but let's in water when raining despite front flap opening. Appears to come in from where screwed to the wall (don't think from flap itself - unless blows up or post wet already when putting in postbox.

Absolute rubbish. Christmas mail absolutely soaked. Folded metal case has four holes at top edges. Also suspect letter flap lets water in. Not fit for purpose. At all.

Very happy with my purchase! I priced and shopped mailboxes for several weeks before settling on this item. I looked at the pricey/ fancy brands, and all the trendy colors. Ultimately, I realized this was just a mailbox! It also occurred to me that I had never heard anyone, say: “Wow! Look at the pretty color and architectural details of that mailbox!” So, being the practical person I am, I purchased the black, metal, rust-proof, locking mailbox for 10x less than some of those other brands that people buy just so they can tell you how much their mailbox cost. Be smart - buy this one! You’ll be pleased as well!
