We bought this to replace another pool skimmer that died. We like that this is power cord and solar charageable. It works well and skims the water nicely. Quiet, reliable. We are very pleased.Update: 4/13/25 One of the turning blades had stopped. This started out really nice and was a replacement for out Betta that died. However, as the season continued this skimmer got slower and slower, even solar powered and or fully plugged in and charged. Opened today. Fully charged skimmer yesterday and only one of the propeller blades is working. We will not purchase again.

It works, but will not stay charged with the solar panel. I've tried cleaning the solar panel on numerous occasions, but it does not help. It does skim, but if you redirect it away from you most the contents fall out and back into the pool. Now after using it less than 4 months (3 months last year and one month this year) one of the propellers are not working so it just turns in circles. Do yourself a favor and pick a different skimmer.

I purchased this skimmer robot a month ago, and it has been a fantastic addition to my pool maintenance routine. I've been using this solar-powered pool skimmer for a few days and I'm thoroughly impressed. Straight out of the box, it started working wonders. It got stuck once, but managed to free itself without my help, which impressed me a lot! It easily picks up leaves, petals, and even twigs, though it might push debris aside occasionally, over time, it still effectively cleans the whole pool with its back-and-forth movement.What sets this skimmer apart is its complete independence—no wires or supervision needed, just sunlight. If it’s a bit cloudy, simply turning it on before placing it in the water does the trick. The integrated handle is a nice touch for easy lifting and it's not very heavy either.I'm so satisfied with this cleaner that I'm planning to get another one for my mom to get rid of the leaves, pollen, and dog hair in her pool. This skimmer is a game-changer and I highly recommend it.

Worked great for several weeks then wouldn't take a charge at all. Tried all the things that were said and still wouldn't work. Returned and tried another in case just a defective one. Second one lasted about a month then same thing. I wish it would work because it was awesome when it did.

Bought this in June of 2025, it is now September 2025 and it no longer works.Very disappointed in the product. Two weeks ago one propeller stopped working so it started going in circles and now it doesn't turn on.

BEAUGATHER, and among all the options. found that the price of this model is the best. Negative comments about it have never happened to me, I have read its manual and the operation is very simple. It was very lightweight and could be lifted with one hand,and there was no sound whileworking. Watching it keep cleaning the leaves in the swimming pool, I am very happy. I no longer have to put in a lot of effort to clean the pool. I like its dual charging mode. Since it was cloudy yesterday, I used its charging mode, which exceeded my expectations because the manual stated that the charging mode could work for three hours, but in reality, it was not enough. Yesterday, I had to work for at least five or six hours before turning it off. Today, the sun was rising,and the sun continued to charge the pool skimmer through the solar panel. It ran for a long time until sunset. Its intelligent radar function is well-designed, allowing it to automatically turn in front of the pool wall and then cycle back into operation.My neighbor has a tall tree, and the leaves often fall into my swimming pool. My little dog Peter also likes to swim in the pool. So there is a layer of leaves and some dog hair floating on my swimming pool for a long time. Previously, I used to use handheld pool vacuums and leaf nets, whichtook me a long time. My body also became very tired, and my swimming pool still left some small debris that couldn't be completely cleaned. Now I can lie by the swimming pool and bask in the sunshine, waiting for the BEAUGATHER pool cleaning robot to clean the pool and enjoy the swimming pool, good! The mesh of the trash basket is almost invisible, andbesides the leaves, it can alsocollect small insects and dog hair. Its cleaning is also very simple, just (1) take out the basket, (2) dispose of the garbage, (3) rinse the trash basket with a water pipe, and (4) put the trash basket back into the robot's belly. I really love it!If your swimming pool is attractive to leaves, petals, puppies, and insects, I strongly recommend purchasing BEAUGATHER, which changes the game rules and makes cleaning the pool very simple.

It doesn't/couldn’t grab long debris 6 inches or longer, i.e., strands of palm leaves from our neighbors trees 😠. It does pick up the palm pollen. The problem is, because it has an open basket, the trash it collects can get released back into the pool if you’re not careful when getting the bot out of the water. Yesterday, it stopped at the far side of our pool and when we reached for it, most of the debris it contained got spilled back into the pool. Very frustrating. I regret having to return it but it does not work as well as I hoped it would.
