Wolff Twice as Sharp Pro Scissor Sharpener

Q: Is this the same as the professional or standard set on the Wolff website?

The difference in the 3 machines is the buffing wheel. Otherwise, they are exactly the same. The standard is meant for home use, by people who are hobbyists and who sew. The buffing wheel is a standard cloth buffing wheel which will work for smaller scissors. It is not made for industrial and pro applications and the edge will go dull quicker. The industrial honing wheel is a 350 grit wheel that will leave a slightly "toothier" edge on your shears. This means it won't slip on the material you are cutting, but it won't cut very fine material as well as the pro version. The pro version has a 400 grit honing wheel so the edge is slightly more refined. It's great for cutting fabric and cloth in high volume. Yes if you want to set the cutting angle and edge even and straight

Q: Is this the same pro model that Wolf sells for $471?

I didn't expect to get a 400 grit diamond wheel with this. I believe the pro set comes with the 800 grit wheel. Also I do not know what comes with the pro machine

Q: Will this work on true leftie scissors?

Yes, there are videos about how to use it for left handed scissors
