Oscar Schmidt OB100B-A-U 4-String Acoustic-Electric Bass with Gig Bag - Black

Great kit! Came with gig bag, stand, and everything listed. Great for hauling around to play with buddies or even to a gig!After replacing the strings that came on this bass, I found it to be an excellent small acoustic-electric bass guitar. Great sound with OR without the amplifier. I liked the action. The only issue I have with this product was that my new E string did not thread completely through the holes in the bridge. The string was standard size. I have been too busy to call the company to ask if this is a known flaw and to learn of possible ways to correct it (i.e. drilling the hole larger).Stays in tune fairly well.I would recommend this bass!

The Oscar Schmidt 0B100N Acoustic Electric Bass is a very good buy. It has a deep sound that carries well for its small size. It is a small body bass that makes it easy to hold and use. It sounds great plugged or not plugged. I say its a good buy.

If you don't want to spend over $500, this is by far the best bass you can get for your money. Great sound, great playability, and comes with a nice gig bag and 10 ft chord. I looked around a lot to find the right bass and I'm glad I did, because this is it!

packed nicely loved the look of it after unpacked. well made no issues or defects that I've found yet . sounds great just like it was advertised. no fret buzz. needed tuned but that was expected even the strings made a free clean sound for standard style strings the mid is on. resonates clear no rattle hum .eq works pretty well only complaints I have is that the eq seams little fragile but after a closer look it seam the whole guitar is offset the neaknut is off square by a hair throwing the guitar out cant believe I didn't notice .but it sound nice and stay in tune the low e-string was a problem it had to be bored out all and all its gonna make a good campfire juke box .but after review will not be buying any produces from Washburn ever

Pick up is cheap and does not work but overall the guitar itself is great for a intermediate or beginner

I bought this guitar in summer of 2011 (almost 7 years ago) and this brad boy still stands strong! Thin body (for an acoustic bass), stays in tune very well, cutout to reach upper frets. I would highly recommend this bass for anyone who wants a nice acoustic bass with clear sound; strong upper Mids, versus a overly Boom-y acoustic bass sound found on thicker bodys. I haven't maintenanced the body since I got it, although I should have because I've dinged and abused this thing, but stands strong. Has great tone and is loud enough to be heard with acoustic guitars and a cajon (portable drum) and I have done many live shows and busked with it many times. My only complaint would be where the E string enters the bridge is too small for a low B string or many larger gauge E strings, However some DIY and elbow grease can over come this. Would definitely buy again
