I haven’t had a chance to use this very much but Trend is always good quality product...delivery was prompt and earlier than expected

The bottle of lapping fluid had a broken cap and the fluid leaked all over everything in the box. About half the lapping fluid had leaked out

Product good but fluid leaked all over package. All the mfr had to do was put a sealing cap on the fluid bottle and they would save everyone this grief.

I bought this package specifically for the 600/1000 grit card. It arrived unfinished or broken, I can’t figure out which. The edges are sharp and rough, and the card has tons of scratches in it right out of the package. Not to mention the entire package was soaked in lapping fluid. The cap was not tight on the bottle, and all the fluid spilled out everywhere. Extremely disappointed. Trust the reviews.

This product overall is a great and easy way to keep your router bits performing as they should. Buying from Amazon lately is the real issue. The first kit purchased came with lapping fluid leaked out all over the package, missing a card, a used card and the DVD missing. Spoke with Amazon and a replacement was sent. New package was still missing the dvd and the 600/1000 card had been used. This makes three different orders in a row now where I’ve received returned used products from Amazon and it’s getting old.

Easy to use and works great

The oil did not leak like so many reviews have said so that is fixed and the stone sharpens well. The only problem is the kit did not include the DVD as advertised. Found some videos on YouTube so that helped but it would have been nice to get the DVD also.

Liked product, functions as described . Unhappy with package shipping, package broken open, was missing instructions and tutorial video. Decided return and replacement not worth hassle

Product arrived VERY fast - a day and a half after I ordered it. The bad- honing fluid was all over package, none left in the bottle - see picture. The cap wasn't even on, and the package was still sealed. Called Trend on their 1=877 number and they told me they were aware of an issue with caps not being on/ coming off and they have fixed the issue but insist that Amazon had likely sent me old stock. They have agreed to send me a replacement bottle.

This set fulfilled my wishes and expectations completely. Dull and mistreated knives and sizzles can easily be returned to sharp tools. The main drawback I experienced is the fact that the lapping fluid bottle has no spray cap (as shown in the images here and on the package). As you only need a bit of it, dripping the fluid on the stone and spreading it, is cumbersome and tends to create more mess.

Sharpeners look good and the abrasive seems to be well adhered. They're spot on flat according to what I'm able to measure.Sad part is the lapping fluid. As it was for others the bottle leaked and about half the fluid leaked ruining the instructions and data sheets and soaked through the delivery box stinking up my hallway, not to mention making the box extremely flammable. All text from the bottle label was dissolved and I now have an unlabeled bottle of blue liquid - could it be raspberry flavour?There are other mentions in the comments about leaking and the manufacturer should have addressed this long ago.For me the value of the kit was the lapping fluid plus two sharpeners and now that much of it has drained away buying items separately would have been a much better value.

Finally received after 2nd order and found the lid of the lapping compound off. everything within the package was soaked in lapping compound. Fortunately, instructions are plastic coated and instruction disc within separate plastic sleeve. May now have to start the order process all over. After further inspection, it is now apparent package was previously opened and stapled closed and suspect bottle left open intentionally.
