Very glad I got these, despite deliberating on whether they were really necessary for about 6 months.They make it 100 times easier/less annoying and fiddly to water certain plants,- like anything in those tiny 3inch pots- or phlebodium ferns that I want to water on the soil surface daily, but stay away from the rhizomes to not get them wet- your recently planted propagations that are still developing their first roots, and want to water in tight near the base of the plant while they do- also makes it a doddle to top up the water on water propagations, which I usually have in containers with thin necks.Seriously, if you have houseplants and love them, the ways in which this little thing makes watering easier will sound like nothing to other people but will make your life so much more of a joy. It selectively converts the finiky tasks into easy tasks.

I saw these mentioned on a succulent forum i belong too and as I became quite the succulent addict in 2020 I needed to find something that enabled me to water below leaves which might be quite close to the surface of the pot as leaves become temperamental when they get wet or overwatered. These were great value for the money and came with a little digging kit which was a nice touch.

I found these bottles to be a more effective way of watering cacti, orchids and my aloe vera plants. Also useful for other house plants as it is easier to direct the water without all the splashes I normally get from using a small watering can.

These work well and make it easy to carry out those watering jobs where space is restricted and access to the depths of the soil is difficult. Makes watering a doddle though more pressure needed than expected to release the water. Not an issue though and for smaller pots, such as used for small succulents, these are a boon.

I purchased these because I have a whole bunch of plants around my desk, and my options were: a) take the plants one by one to the bathroom to water them under the tap, or b) get an open-spout watering can and risk splashing water all over my laptop.These are great. You fill them, point the nozzle into the pot and squeeze. Water comes out. Plants are happy. Because it's a decent size, you can leave it under your desk and water them once a day without having to make multiple refill trips.You can't go wrong with these.
