A CONFUSING YET ACTION-PACKED MESS!!!!!
This film is a textbook example on how an awesome concept can derail quickly. The movie seems to have an intricate suspenseful plot but instead we get an over-complicated confusing mess that has too many damn characters and not enough substance. When you're a B-Movie, you just can't replicate BOURNE IDENTITY guys!!! Success in these type of films is simplicity and non-stop action. The action sequences are good but at times rely on close-ups, fast-cuts and dark backgrounds which hinder the viewer from enjoying the full action scene. Even with all these shortcomings the movie is ACTION-PACKED with a mish-mash of hot butt-kicking ladies and cool characters. Overall, the movie is worth a rental especially if you're a sucker(like me!)for girls with guns and automatic weapon firing ninjas!!!

Cool
I wanted a action flick, and I got it, wanted to see a lot of sword play, this wasn't necessarily the best choice, but it is an alright movie

WANTING !!!
The storyline was feasible, but not well told. The acting was mediocre, could have been better considering the actors involved. This must have been a very LOW BUDGET MOVIE !!The movie has Some Good fight scenes !!I didn't mind the subtitles, even though they were unexpected !!This DVD should be sold in the BARGIN BIN, not worth the full regular price !!I can not recommend this DVD !!!

“Your code name is Genja.” “Can I have another?”
“Your code name is Genja.” “Can I have another?”This 2009 action thriller [aka Suay Samurai, aka Final Target] is part in English and part Thai [with English subtitles where appropriate, features some serious kickboxing, sword fighting and general tough girl martial arts action as beautiful CIA agent Genja [Sophita Sribanchean] is given a covert operation in southern Thailand. She is part of a Thai elite special ops unit, the all female ‘Vanquishers who have to capture a terrorist, but they are betrayed and left to die by her own organization. Two years later, Genja re-emerges in Bangkok but who is she really for –the CIA, the Thai Police or the Terrorists? If you like watching beautiful women take on the guys and win [the three main leads are all female], or better still fight one another, and enjoy Asian type Martial Arts movies, then this could be for you. Unfortunately, the subtitles [about half the film] are intrusive and as the film is fast action, it’s easy to lose the plot due to the numerous plot twists, double dealings, conspiracies and betrayals [lose a *]. Most of the special effects are quite good but some are Mission Impossible explosion style, so they are a bit hit-and-miss, as is some of the acting. The film is entertaining and has a decent plot which gives a different ‘take’ on terrorism -if you can follow it . Basically you have the CIA, the Thai police, Special Ops and the Terrorists all fighting one another. Each seemingly having their own band of masked, black clad Ninja males to provide the body count the ‘ladies’ leave behind, but it’s often difficult to distinguish who is who [lose another *] - it was all much easier in the days when the good guys wore a white hat!Despite the flaws this is an all out action movie from the start, it’s entertaining and has some excellent fight scenes -with a few looking staged, but it isn’t as bad as most reviewers make out. Beautiful Women, Killer Ninjas, Terrorist plots with multiple twists and plenty of sword and gun play, if that’s what you want, you can’t do much better than this, definitely better than ‘Prince of the Sun’. A good *** but it’s complexity stops it being a ****.

Confronting terrorists Thai style
This Thai film concerns the female special agent in the Royal Thai police who is recruited to assist in an American operation to capture a terrorist and is left for dead with others members of the team by their American 'friends' as per their instructions not to leave any witnesses. Years later the same American agents are back in Thailand tracking down Muslim extremists when their paths cross again leading to explosive martial action Thai style between the various factions as a deadly game of double cross ensues.
