Seiko 5 for a Car Enthusiast
This is the 4th 7S26 powered Seiko 5 I've owned and the second "Speed Racer." I had an SNK375 (same dial!) previously and to be honest, there was nothing wrong with that watch, except that I didn't like the curvy case. Owning a watch can be senselessly subjective like that. I sold that watch literally 2 months ago and I ended up buying this one because I realized my other automatic watches, including a Seiko SARB017 Alpinist and a SRPB41 Cocktail Time "Blue Moon", didn't have a day of week, and I just missed having a fun, light, car-inspired watch without needing to put on a chunky chronograph. Is this a technically advanced watch? Not by a longshot. At this point, with the new line of Seiko 5s out for a year (or more?), this is a previous generation Seiko 5, powered by the 7S26 automatic movement. It has no hand winding, no hacking (stopping the second hand when setting time) and is probably half a minute off each day, depending on how good or bad your luck is with your movement. The bracelet? It's jangly, it's terrible and will definitely pull out arm hairs. But even so, there's something honest and refreshing about strapping on one of these. It runs because you, the wearer, moved enough for it to run. If it's stopped, shake it a few times, and it springs to life. The car tachometer style accents including the red stripe from 12 to 4 o'clock, the hollowed out hour hand (adds lightness!), and the red second needle all evoke the feeling that I should step away from my desk, fire up the car and rev the motor out to redline a couple of times. It's a cool, fun watch to own, wear and look at. Yeah, I think I'm going to go for that drive now.

Cheap made
This watch was a cheap quality. And I don't recommend it

It’s definitely worth the price
It’s a great looking watch. Definitely worth the money it can be adjusted but the directions aren’t super clear on how to do it but nothing a simple Google search can fix. I like the way it looks with my outfits in my wedding ring. It’s a great staple piece for any outfit. The weight of the watch isn’t super light so it doesn’t feel cheap. I’ve been wearing it for weeks now is definitely durable watch it was worth to buy.

Seiko 5 SNKK31
I bought this Seiko 5 (snkk31) after weeks of searching for a good everyday automatic. After perusing the watch forums I decided to give the 5 series a try, and landed on this one because of the dial. I've been very impressed with the accuracy of this watch. I was expecting to have to do a little regulating, but so far after 3 months it is averaging +/- 10 sec a day. I set all of my watches to a Citizen Eco-Drive radio controlled watch that syncs every night. If I wear the Seiko everyday, the watch seems to hold better time. In my typical day I wear the watch for about 12 hours, then it sits in a case for 12. The lume lasts through most of the night. If I rotate another watch onto my wrist for more than one day I need to start up the 5 again and set the time. I'm happy to do it. It is the smallest watch in my collection, but I don't have very large wrists so it works for me. I work in television, and spend most of my work day doing maintenance on equipment, running cable, often sticking my hand through equipment racks and sub-floors. I've banged this watch pretty good several times and it hasn't skipped a beat. It already has a couple scratches and scuffs, but the crystal remains clean (for now). The bracelet is functional, not solid link, but what do you expect from a <$100 timepiece. I planned on replacing the bracelet with something sportier to match the "tachometer" feeling dial and tried two different straps. One was rubber with a tread-like pattern (also found on Amazon), but I ended up sticking with the tri-tone black/red/grey nato. I included some photos. I highly recommend a Seiko 5 watch, and there's no doubt this wont be my last one.

Seiko 5 watch
Excellent watch for the money. I have worn this watch almost daily, since I have purchased it almost a month ago. If you don't wear this watch for a couple of days it will stop, it needs the movement from your arm to function since it is an automatic. The strips that glow in the dark on this watch work very well. I prefer this watch to digital watches, being, that I find digital watches a pain to program. Being able to see the movement of the watch and its mechanics on the back portion is a classy look. I needed a few links taken out of this watch and I took it to the jewelry department at walmart and they did it for free. This watch is constructed very well. Great buy, I got it for around 58 dollars from amazon.

Sturdy reliable & attractive!
This watch has been the watch I wear nearly every day - don't even take it off to do chores or sleep. And it keeps on ticking. Matched the stripes on the watch face with a NATO band - very attractive. Yes, it's got some scratches, but nothing too serious! For a watch bought in 2016, daily wear, it's a watch I can honestly recommend for its looks, ruggedness & practicality. Have to admit, I prefer automatics to quartz: no batteries to replace & the second-hand sweep is smooth not jerky.
