The lights state that they are waterproof and come with an RF remote. The remote is not RF and has to be pointed at the box to make them change. The selling page says they are IP 68 waterproof and can be used outdoors. In the instruction manual it says "The strip lights are not waterproof and are suitable for indoor. " " The Power and Controller also not waterproof, for safety reasons. Please hide the controller and adapter away from the water on using. "How can you hide the controller (the box that plugs to the light strip and the power goes in it. The Control box to light strip only has a 5" wire. The power adaptor certainly is not waterproof either. Where would all this hang out of the weather even if the light strip is waterproof. Makes no sense. Going back over the add for it and thinking I hit the wrong buy button it clearly states these are IP68 waterproof with an RF remote.As for the light strip it was just what I was looking for to put in the Pergola. But with the all the parts not being waterproof I'm out and the hunt continues. Bad, Just Bad

This product is awesome. Got these neon light as a Christmas present for my teenage daughter. She loves them. She uses them every night to sleep with or hang out in fun colors. The quality of the rope light is great, ease of use is great, and even installing them was easy. My only minor complaint is the ad could use better pictures of the hangers and installation so you know what to expect. The hangers are cheap but do work and have held up for over a month now. Overall the best price and quality for LED rope lights

Everything about these lights are great. The app is outdated and a little wonky but the light quality is amazing. It’s 60 feet which worked perfectly. You don’t use anything sticky to mount it, but you use screws to put the little holders in place. I personally like it better because it’s more permanent and it’s on the outline of my wall.

These lights are pretty but you definitely get what you pay for. If you plan to do designs, the brackets they came with will not work. I got the ones from command strips instead and they worked at least. Also if I have it on pink, there is a small section that is just red. Otherwise, they are pretty good. Cheap rope lights, but are bright and feel pretty durable.

these lights are great and look super good since you can't see the individual lights and the app is helpful but they aren't as bright as i had hoped
