Kvar Energy Saving and Power Factor Correction, Whole House Surge Protection for 200 AMP Service

I have this mounted in my garage by the pannel,box. The power company has came out and replaced my meter 3 times. They think something is wrong with my meter. Because our neighbors bill is much higher than ours and our house is over 4000 square feet. With pool, ceiling fans, 2 ac units, 2 huge refrigerators , dishwasher, washer and dryer always running someone always home using electric. And a pool with heat pump on a timer, savings as soon as you installOur bill went from about 400.00 down to about 200.00. IT ALSO SERVES AS A SURG PROTECTOR WATCH VIDEO ON THIS KVAR UNIT IT DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS IT DOES. I told my family and friends about this Kvar and they got one installed also. They called me and thanked me. FYI the power companies say they do,not work so,tell me why the bought a lot of them and charge you to rent them from the power companies the power companies put their name on the box and charge you monthly to have it installed THE POWER COMPANIES call it a SURG protector and do not want you to know it saves you money so you can save on your bill, so you do not get the savings they control what you save. Just go buy one from KVAR YOU OWN IT YOU GET IT INSTALLED YOU GET THE SAVINGS remember everything you install on receiving sife of the power meter is yours, from the meter to the power poll, is the power companies they cannot control what you do to save power on your side of the power meter. This unit also helps your appliances last longer from power surging up and down it levels out your power grid from surging!

I bought this and I am not at all impressed with this, it did not lower my kilowatt usage at all infact it was quite the opposite..I have a large solar array, plus a large wind turbine, plus hydro, 2 dual fuel generators and a power station so to say the least I generate almost all of my own electric, especially in the summer months.. in the summer I usually use around 200 kilowatt-hour a month, when I put this thing in it went up to 756 kilowatt-hours...It doesn't work.. the only good thing I could hope for is that it would make a good whole house surge protector.. but who wants to pay for it to be on all the time?.. the only thing I can find handy about this piece of garbage is it does have a light on it so I know when the grid power is off..Also it may clean up dirty power coming off of a generator...But to lower ones electric usage.... Dream on!Update!!!!!!... 6-12-2023..I hooked my generator up to my house and ran it, thinking maybe this piece of garbage would clean up the dirty power coming off of the generator... No way!... With the generator on a light load when I turn the breaker on for this kvar you can hear the generator work much harder... So that's done.. since I can't return it I'm just going to drill the rivets out of the box, open it up , cut out the capacitors and wire it so there's only the little light... At least this way I'll know if there grid power..FINAL UPDATE:...just got my electric bill with this box turned off for a month, and guess what, MY ELECTRIC BILL WENT DOWN!!!!! .... Well imagine that, my kilowatt hour consumption went from 756 kilowatt-hours to 247 kilowatt-hours, right where it usually is this time of year..In conclusion, I have taken a lot of time and effort to write all of this down for you because I don't want to see you get screwed like I did, this company should be sued for fraud for what they are doing here, don't fall for it... It is my hope that their sales go down from my review, they deserve it.Once again I have shown you as best I could what a fraud this box is, do not buy...Happy trails!!!

got these and love my reduced electric bill

My installation replaced a different brand existing unit. That unit no longer had the power light on ever since a surge happened. Installation was straight forward.Pros:1. it should provide whole house surge protection2. It should reduce reactive power which won’t save me any money as I do not get charged for that. However, although it’s not a voltage regulator, it should help maintain voltage levels helping to provide power stability. It actually seemed to work as the input in my PC UPS varied between 118v and 119v and now it seems stable at 119v. It wasn’t a definitive test as I would need longer times of monitoring with and without the KVAR device.3. Runs cool. Previous KVAR box had run quite warm.Cons:1. Product box quality is not great. It only has a mounting bracket at the top for 2 screws. It should have another at the bottom for firm mounting.2. Why is the power light red ? … green would be more usual. Red typically implies a problem. Doesn’t really bother me.3. Box hums a little.If this little box saves my electronics during power surges, I’ll be more than happy. Perhaps the company should be a little more honest about the cost savings, since you will only get those if you pay for reactive power, which most residences do not.

Ive bought several! We get lots of lighting in Texas. American made and saves energy and protects my expensive gear at home. Yes Ive bought some for family!🇺🇸

One year review. Item does not work. My electric bill went up. Every time my AC came on lights still dimmed. Box was warm to touch. Before removing it I decited to put a clamp meter on line to see if it’s pulling any amps. It was pulling between 3amps and 13amps constantly. What a waste!

This unit works perfectly. No hoax.If you have central air or a heat pump you will notice a difference, plus AM radio works again
