this is half decent biltong, i like the fatty stuff the best. pity no venison or whole stick type options.

Wors, glorious wors and plenty of it too.
Quick response to the order. The Droewors lacks both garlic and chilli taste - I can smell the garlic but just can't tastes it. It could definitely do with more chilli ad garlic! But as Droewors goes it improves with age, in my opinion. And its very nice, even without noticable garlic or chilli!I was exceedingly amused though, to read on the label that the product should be eaten with in 48 hours, as far as I am concerned, biltong and droe wors improves with age, but I suppose that instruction is a nod to health and safety.

What's that oily coating in my mouth?
The taste is good, but the extreme residual coating in my mouth scares me. My mouth feels like it has been coated in some sort of artificial slippery substance. Horrific! Even after a couple of hours now, my mouth feels oily and strange :(

It's okay, won't order again though.
The flavour is pretty good, it could go heavier with the marinating spices and chilli & garlic but I get that it's flavoured for the mainstream market, and the reviews saying it's tasteless are definitely being unfair in my opinion.I like my droëwors pretty wet but that's obviously very difficult to achieve when posting it; this is a decent medium, has a nice snap to it but still pretty moist.It is greasy though, and leaves a weird coating in your mouth that I really don't like. I definitely prefer other makers for this reason.It would also be good to be able to reseal the packet after opening.

Listing was lacking macros, but AMAZING product.
Delicious, satisfying chew and flavour. The macros are absolutely perfect for a ketogenic diet. May seem pricey but 100g of this stuff is basically the same nutrition as an 8oz steak.Much better nutrition than whey or soy protein, and delicious at the same time, and a much cleaner list of ingredients, and not overly salty either.Keep them in your rucksack or gym bag, 2/3 sticks really fill a hunger gap and keep the fat% coming in high! Best Keto product I've found of the snack variety.
