Innocent [DVD] [2018]

Having watched too many at best mediocre and at worst dire television series I was pleasantly surprised by Innocent. The story held my interest and even though I found the ending disappointing being rather predictable that did not take from my overall enjoyment of the programme.The acting is of a very high standard and who could expect less from Lee Ingleby and Hermione Norris who head the cast in this tale of a man who may have been wrongly convicted for the murder of his wife and if so has been wrongly imprisoned for several years.Not an unusual premise but quite deftly handled.

Good acting and plot which maintains your interest. Can recommend.

Watched It Many Times. I Feel The Director(s) And Actors Were Great Trying To Put Over A Realistic Life Drama. I Will Go One Step Further And Would Have Liked A Court Hearing At The End To Clear David Collins, Lee Ingleby To Let The Press Know He Was Cleared. Would Like To See More Work And Same Level From Chris Lang & Matthew Arlidge.

With first class actors i was pretty sure that this was going to be an enjoyable DVD. The story is excellent and you are gripped right from the beginning. The episodes flow nicely into each other and the ending caught me totally off gaurd.Bottom line, is that if you have three hours to spare, then don’t hesitate, you are in for an enjoyable evening.

Excellent actors & script. Thrilling ! and what a nerves breaker ! From A to Z ... Just when you think ... this ..., that happens ... Bravo. Looking forward to more series of this kind ! Ingleby is perfect, but Norris & Coulby too. No secondary actors, all splendid, and both young ones, what a future.

Enjoyable,I did kinda guess who it was at the beginning, but wasn't sure so it did keep me guessing

Should have been a longer series, such a well writern & acted drama. Not a family drama per say but this cast keep everyone glued to our tv!
