These SAE cables are handy to have around as more and more things are using this type of connection.

The color of the wires was reversed on the ones I got. Red was negative and black was positive.

It's important that these SAE push-on connectors can mate well with other connectors. These pushed on nice and tight, but not too tight. From the construction, I would guess that they could handle more than 15A, although I'm using them for a battery charging circuit at 1A.

Installed and they fit well and tight but not too tight. The rubber cover does come in handy to help protect the wires from potentially arcing against the body when not in use. The wire ends were pre-soldered so it makes easy connecting.

I used these to change the form of connectors from one that had broken. They were put on with crip connectors to the existing wires and worked great.

Works great for installing on small solar panels with just bare leads, to standardize a small charging system.

Heavy duty wire, fit perfectly. Used them on my wildcat xx to power the stereo, light bar, and back up lights. No problems

I purchased these specifically becuase they were 14 gauge. The package label even says 14 gauge. The wire looked really thin. Upon closer inspection the wire says right on it, 18 gauge. I don't want somebody burning up their car, and subequently their home by using these connectors thinking they are 14 gauge. I think this is just a scam to charge more for 18 gauge connectors, thinking nobody will notice.
