Highly Impressive and Flexible
It's rare that I go out of my to log in and dig up a past purchase to leave a review, but I do want to give this high marks. I have another Yealink product (a USB connected desktop hub) and I honestly love this thing way more. It has no business sounding as good as it does (a surprising amount of bass) and I'm told that the noise rejection on the mic works pretty well, maybe almost too good. If I mumble to myself while on a call, my voice will usually cut in and out, or so I'm told. The battery life is impressive, and the magnetic charging point in the top of the case holds it upright so it's easy to pick up and go. Also being able to connect to both my laptop and my phone simultaneously makes working from home way easier. Now I just tend to wake up and put it on and wear it for the entire work day because you kind of forget that you're wearing it after awhile anyway. Also I forgot about the mute button on it which is a life saver. The mute synchronizes perfectly well with Teams and also controls the mute on my phone during calls. I even get a "muted" audible reminder when I talk while it's muted. Also I just found out about the volume dial on the side so I can do that too. Very thoughtfully design product.

Fantastic bargain for such great quality
Used daily for WFH call center work, and I have received multiple compliments regarding the clarity of sound from these, including when on a call with a truck driver wearing a headset. Easy to use, effective Bluetooth and USB connectivity, fantastic fit, long lasting and easy charge. Compatible with Zoom, Teams, and Jabber/Finesse systems. This version has a charging base and cord for quick charging, and the base doubles as a case for travel. Just remember to bring the cord during travel because, as the instructions mention, the base itself is not capable of holding a charge. (Think of the base/case as more like the charger for a watch than the charging cases used for ear buds.)

performance is good. comfortable to wear. room for improvement
first: I'm coming from a Plantronics Voyager Edge, which I love because I wear the headset *only* when on an active call and I can take the Voyager Edge from charging case to ear, at which point it automatically answers an incoming call, in less than 3 seconds. Sadly the Edge hasn't been manufactured since 2018. While the Edge had great audio, the Yealink is even better: absolutely no complaints about performance or comfort. I've been using the BH71 Pro for about a month now. I'm getting quicker at folding/rotating as I retrieve it from it's charging case, but it's still a hassle. Except for the hole that allows for standing the headset on top of the case, the case is symmetrical, so before I can remove headset from case, I need to figure out which side the hinge is on and which side to pry open: pretty much cannot be done w/o looking. Worse, the case is slippery and there little or nothing at the seam of the clam-shell to help you open it. Getting headset from case to ear always takes two hands, eyes on the case, and most often two hands to position the battery portion above and behind my ear, else I think it's there, then it falls off. Needed improvements: a) charging case charge status: there are 3 LEDs on the charging case, but they only light up when case is connected to a charger. There should be a way to learn state of charge either when touching the case or opening/closing it. b) less slippery case: I could carry my Voyager Edge charging case in my shirt pocket. It had a rubber exterior so it would never fall out, even if I bent over. The BH71 case is 70% larger and slick, so it definitely will not stay in a shirt pocket. Heck, I've dropped the case from my hands several times cause it's slippery and/or while struggling to open the case. c) auto-answer: Assuming I figure out how to don the headset within five seconds, it would be great if it would also answer the phone in response. The Voyager Edge would detect this and automatically answer when placed in your ear. I usually end up pushing answer on my phone before I've managed to don the headset, which of course means I often miss callers first few words. I just can't put it on fast enough. Finally, I grant, I've been comparing the BH71 to a different product. Hoping this makes it to product dev's and they can create an in-ear headset with boom mic. I still have a working Voyager Edge, but it's days are numbered. After five years of searching, even begging manufacturers to create a successor product, I bought the BH71. The BH71 is good. It could be even better.

This is a great purchase, especially if you work from home
Excellent headset better than they wanna hug before a great reception. Also use it for work. I use it for work on a daily basis and it drowns the background noise.

Difficult to understand
The set up instructions are unclear. The QR Codes did not get me where I needed to be. I thought it connected to google, but it would only give me amazon. It did not allow me to voice call.

Comfortable, clear, and great range in the house
This Yealink headset is so comfortable and clear I often forget I'm wearing it when I step away from my desk in my work-from-home office. It's lightweight, and works great for Microsoft Teams and Google Meet calls. The dangle connection gives a reliable Bluetooth connection. The volume is easily adjustable, and the battery lasts a long time, even though I keep it on the charger when not in use. It goes inside the charging case when I travel, and sits on the case at my desk making charging so easy.

Compatible with Teams!
I have tried so many wireless headsets over the last couple years, and none of them have worked out. This is the first one that has actually worked where I can hear the other person, and they can hear me perfectly. I love having no cord hanging across my desk. I’m still getting used to the fit…I can barely feel the actual ear piece in my ear, but the device itself is not falling off of my ear or anything…probably what it’s designed to do, and I just need to get used to it. My only wish is that the charging cord was a little longer. It only reaches about 10 inches. Other than that, I have had no issues so far: I can walk out of the room with it, it tells me when I’m muted/unmuted, when a call is coming in, battery power and if it’s connected to my pc, and it was very easy to set up.

Review after 3 months of use. Only good for PC calls, not for cell calls.
3 Month update: Bought this back in May. Been using it with calls. Downgrading my rating from 5 star to 2 STARS. PRO PC calls like zoom and start meeting or any online meeting, it works pretty well. I don't have a complain on this functionality. Calls are clear. Charge - stays long for about 4 hours or maybe longer. The case stays charge for a long time. When not in use, I do keep it inside the case. CON Cell calls, it sucks! It does not connect automatically when I answer my phone, though it is connected via Bluetooth. Once connected, it does not stay connected. Majority of the time while I am on the call, I suddenly loose the person I am talking too within 10 seconds, then have to go to my phone to connect it again. Caller's voice quality is so bad, everything is garbled. I am not sure if the other end hears me well though. Ear lobe placement - it takes practice to keep it snug. You can't just pop it and think it's in place. If you are in a hurry, it will fall out. You have to maneuver it in a certain way, size of the inner ear plastic matters too. Not recommended for cell calls via Bluetooth connection. PC calls for zoom is good though. Review in May 2025 I don't make reviews as often as I am ask to. I am doing this because of the quality of this product. I have been frustrated with my air pods pro, they are not made for online calls. I've research online, watch youtube until I stumbled on this one. Received it today, it was an overnight shipping. I was excited to try it since it on the expensive side. Easy connection set-up. I was able to connect both Iphone13 and laptop at the same time. While listening to my laptop on youtube, if I get a call or ask Siri, it auto connects to the phone. Microphone and Noise Cancelling feature during calls. I called my husband with my very loud exhaust fan in the kitchen running at a max, level 4.When I say loud, it is very loud, like a lawn mower running. I stood next to the exhaust during my conversation, my husband said he heard me clearly, no background noise at all. This was terrific! Fit, I thought it will be too big and heavy behind my ear. At first, it kept falling out. I changed the rubber to the largest one so it's kind of help hold within my cartilage, it sure did work. It was light, it stayed in place for a whole hour, never felt uncomfortable. Again, with the Air pods, you ears get tired and hot while wearing them. So far, I am loving it. This was worth my money. I will review after a month, and see how it lasts.
