Just a heads-up: unlike the old Roku 3 remotes that communicated over RF from farther distances, this one only works within close proximity to the streaming stick—something to keep in mind depending on your setup.Streaming quality is smooth and reliable, and navigating the Roku interface feels familiar and fast. With access to all the major apps plus Roku’s free live TV channels, this device delivers a lot of value for the price.If you're looking to replace an older Roku or add affordable streaming to another TV, this stick is a great choice. For years friends have tried to get me to buy one of these. After having down time post surgery, I caved. And boy am i glad that I did! Im not a tech virgin nor a pro, however even the most inept individual can install this Roku. I could have done it in my sleep, it was so easy. Set up took mere moments once I got past the stoopid "Im not a robot" click tests. That was ridiculous but not the worst thing that I've ever been thru. It literally took 15-20 mins to get everything set up and running. Now if I just had a better set of eyes and could see the words on the screen better...lol. Boo, Im old. The remote is easy to understand and work, fits well in your average sized hands, and is very nice looking. It connected lickity-split and the streaming quality (paired with Starlink) is fluid and without any lag, freezing, or stuttering so far. The Roku was a fantastic deal and was as described in the ad. Im extremely pleased so far. (Day 1)

Glad we made this purchase! It's not expensive at all compared to all you get with the stick. Very easy to setup if you follow the instructions. We love that it controls the whole tv, therefore, no need for using two remotes just to turn on the tv. Easy to connect to your wifi, and no problems after the intial set up.

I ordered the Roku 4K Streaming Stick from Amazon to upgrade my older TV, and it completely transformed the way I watch shows. Setup was incredibly simple — just plug it into the HDMI port, connect to Wi-Fi, and follow the on-screen instructions. I was up and running in minutes.The picture quality is excellent. Streaming in 4K is crisp and vibrant, especially on platforms like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. Even non-4K content looks sharp and loads fast, with minimal buffering.One thing I love is the Roku interface — it’s clean, simple, and easy to navigate. The included remote is compact and responsive, with dedicated buttons for popular apps. Voice control works surprisingly well too.It’s also super portable. I’ve brought it with me on trips and just plugged it into hotel TVs to stream my own shows, which is a huge bonus.

Great remote it gives me access to my Direct TV, my apps and to streaming other streaming TV apps. Easy to setup with the HDMI cable included. The remote comes with batteries and it works well with a little effort. The sound is flat however I think a sound bar will help. The streaming quality is very good. The design is sleek and easy to maneuver.

We purchased this for my son to use in his college dorm room this fall. As far as consistency, ease of use, and reliability, this Roku Streaming Stick is a top option for accessing all your favorite streaming sites.The stick itself is nice and compact, so that it fits easily into the HDMI slot of your television and doesn't take up a lot of room. It would be nice if plugging the stick into the HDMI port were enough to charge it. I'm not necessarily a fan of the fact that you have to use the included USB-C cord to power it (either through using the USB port on your TV or plugging into the wall). Having that extra cord in the back of the TV isn't ideal, but I understand why it is necessary.The remote control is compact and features four shortcuts to streaming sites on the front. I do appreciate that batteries are included for the remote. It's a small thing but something like that goes a long way with me.Now, getting the Roku remote to act as the remote for my TV was a little tricky. At first, I was prompted if I wanted to use the Roku remote as my primary source. After selecting "Yes", Roku ran a few updates and then powered off. When I tried to turn the TV back on with the remote, I couldn't get it to power up. However, after a few minutes of investigating, I hit the "home" and "back" buttons to essentially reset the Roku remote, and everything ran smoothly after that. I could turn on my TV with it, access the volume control and mute buttons, and move around the Roku home screen easily.After I joined the WiFi network, everything was a breeze. All I had to do from there was log in to all the streaming sites that I'm subscribed to. I had no issues getting access to any of my channels.The picture quality was excellent, and we didn't experience any lag or buffering issues.Other than getting the Roku remote configured to my TV and having the extra cord in the back to power the stick, I don't have many issues with this device. I've given this Roku Streaming Stick four stars, but in all honesty, it really leans towards four and a half. I would definitely recommend this item.
